Personally, this is JUST ME and MY opinion but I've also watched a bit of anime and I can say that Mob Psycho 100 is def a personal favorite. Something about the character development that Mob (protagonist), goes through with the help of his con artist master, Reigen (deuteragonist) is very appealing to me :) Plus I love how it's a comedy, slice-of-life, and action anime all in one! This anime has managed to make me feel emotions I have never felt before with its complex themes. I have cried tears not because a character was killed but because of joy, how wholesome Mob is, and just the character relationships in general. It's got a great story arch, animation, pace, characters, and of course an amazing soundtrack and opening/ending themes (10/10) Of course there are tons of other great animes but this is just one that has stuck with me strangely.
Totally agree with your points, but imo it isn't a beginner anime. I personally don't really think that Death Parade should be on someone's starter pack. It has a deep meaning and convoluted plot about life and it's meaning. For drama instead, I recommend Your Name (it's an anime movie but it's a really good starting point for beginner). Plus, it is one of the most popular anime movie too so everyone is pretty much know about that
I have been watching anime for 22yrs now and I couldn't agree more with your list...every anime you recommended under every category and every view point you have towards these anime are so accurate or atleast its exactly the same as me....this is the best beginners recommendation I have ever come across
Demon Slayer is how I got into anime as I went a friends party and they told me about it I wasn’t interested at first then like half a year later I watched it and LOVED it
I've been getting into anime recently and gotta say... JJK LITERALLY IS SO GOOD THANK YOU FOR THE RECOMMENDATION IT REALLY HELPED! and im currently watching Vinland Saga because of your recommendation (it's also really gud :D)
Just started Vinland last night! If JJK is right up your alley, I highly recommend : JJK and demon slayer (my personal favorite) as recommended, Hunter x Hunter, my hero academia, assassination classroom, Akame Ga Kill, Yu Yu Hakisho. Those to me are MUST watch action packed anime. Definitely give them a try and give them a chance too. Hunter x hunter for example starts a little slow but is legit easily top 3 best anime ever created.
Some of my recommendations which are super underrated 🤧 1. Elfen field , Kill la kill 2. Akame ga kill 3. Devilman crybaby 4. Death parade 5. Baccano! , My teen romantic comedy snafu 6. Mushi shi 7. Yona of the dawn Honourable mentions : Magi , Barakamon , Kakuriyo no yadomeshi , Tomodachi game, Deadman wonderland, Prison school , Kiss him, not me , Tokyo raven , free , SK8 the infinity 💜
You should watch Ace of the Diamond. If you like sk8 and free it has that vibe with the 2 main guys. It has a shit ton of episodes too 180 episodes over 3 seasons. The only thing is you should watch a video on the rules of baseball. I did that after like 20 episodes and it got better lol
I personally recommend you don't watch attack on titon as the first anime. It's a very great anime, and one of my favourite, but it might be little overwhelming to watch it as a first anime, maybe after watching like 10 or more animes, you'll love it, if you watch till end. The end is epic.
I’m anime-curious 😂 trying to find a series to get into. I liked Gundam and DBZ as a kid, and as an adult I’ve only really watched Space Dandy (❤❤❤❤) and Miyazaki films. But I’m going through a really hard time rn and I got the random urge to watch a new series. Thanks for the video 👍
I used to come from a beginner phase and would still consider a partial beginner. I would say ive watched enough anime to decide what works for a beginner and what not. Bear in mind I hated anime and absolutely did not fathom I would ever watch anime. But here I am. im gonna list down some anime that I believe beginners would enjoy. this may or may not work for you but it did to me 1. Death note 2. Erased 3. Code Geass 4. Tokyo Ghoul 5.Demon slayer 6. Hxh 7. Tomodachi game Overtime as you watch more anime, you will get to know what genre works for you and what doesn’t. What kind of character traits pulls you into watching. For me Isekai is not my thing therefore slime or shield hero is not in my list. Shonen is by far my favourite hence the reason why most of it is shonen. To those of you who are coming from a background where they hated anime because of the over the top, exaggerated expression, AOT is not the one for you especially for beginners. It’s going to be overwhelming if it’s your first ever anime. It was too much for me and it got in the way of me enjoying the show. But nevertheless, everybody has their own perception of defining ‘good anime for beginners’. Hope to hear what others have to say about their ‘good anime for beginners’
My list , of animes i watched so far 1.MHA(first anime i ever watched badass ,cool fights ,action powers, characters, cant wait for season7) 2.assassination classroom(comedy, badass, cool actions, assassination, and a long emotional journey) 3.Demon Slayer(ofc top tier animations, fight scenes, beautiful plot) 4.COTE(op protagonist, psychology ,thriller, plot twists) only four yikes, and i recommend all of these.
As a person who fell in love with the first fruits basket its hard for me to get back into the new one because of all the new music. The character main theme music is just stuck in my head along with the natural score of the anime. The new one is still very good and to the unbiased eye is better but for me it was hard.
300 animes? tf man! thats a lot. bro was born to watch anime, i have only watched 2, with that being solo leveling, deathnote, and i still have season 2 left of jjk
Naruto was one of my first shows and I highly recommend it for beginners. I was in my mid 20s when I started watching anime and I was already pretty busy, so I like shows that are good background shows. Once things picked up and got more interesting I started paying more attention.
i freaking saw a 4 year old with a plushie Goku from Dragonball Z at church this morning. i was honestly so surprised that he watches an anime when he's 4. (i'm not criticizing his parents for allowing him to watch anime, i'm just surprised that he was watching anime at that age.)
I've been watching anime for a few years and my first anime was actually Naruto. So Naruto and One piece can be a great first anime because they have the best story/ character development ever. Right now I'm actually rewatching Naruto.
I binged all the animes you have recommended in this video and my fave was Attack on Titan! Unbelievable absolute masterpiece. It has piqued my interest in manga and i have now started binge reading one piece which i am enjoying a lot... Upto the skypea arc
My list: Okay, you MUST watch Erased. It’s still one of my favorite anime, with an amazing plot and surprise and a mystery, and brings many emotions to viewers. Second, Black Clover. This anime is a dub. Unlike Naruto, it has characters that are well-developed and the episodes get better everytime. (Please bear Asta’s voice in the first 20 episodes.) Third, if you’re a horror movie watcher, The Promised Neverland is perfect. Don’t watch season 2 though. It’s about kids that find they’re in a child-farm made for eating them. Three kids come up with a plan to escape their house, and mother. Really amazing plot, plot twists, and brings tears to my eyes. That’s all for now, I’m too lazy to write more
Oh wow another list I have to watch. Some I have saw already as a beginner. Yo this list is so good. I just started watching in October and I’ve been hooked
I started on my anime journey when I was 10 with Naruto I am now 13 and still have not finished all of it. I have watched a lot of other anime though. I also read a lot of manga.
This has helped a lot, my friends have watched anime for a long time and I never watched but not because I thought of it in a negative way but I had other interests instead but I wanna get into because some clips on tiktok I seen look so dope
I'm watching anime since 2015. I also heard about "Fruits Basket" a few times, but I was never interested in it, because I thought it was a stupid romance anime, that I won't like. But this recommendation just bought me. ❤ ok now I want to watch it. It looks really cool. :) (Sorry for my English. Correct me if I wrote something wrong)
I think I already saw you on Tiktok with some AOT stuff and it was funny af😎😂 Your picks are so good! I wouldn't also recommend Anime like Naruto or One Piece in general for beginners. Not because of the animation. Either because of their amount of their episodes. I think as a beginner it can be way too much🫡
Some choice picks. Personally, I would swap *AOT* with *Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, or To Your Eternity* because I think both of those fall more under the umbrella of adventure anime. They are both also shorter than AOT, and in my opinion, easier for a beginner to digest. Apart from that minor change, I completely agree with you selection.
@@faizissa8617 not haven't read but watched the seasons which are already there and there's not even a comparison, yes manga would be better but still nothing comes close to Aot's plots/story, foreshadowing, writing
@@legendarygamerx5059 Man stop this and go read Magi. The manga of Magi is the only shonen that rivals Aot in plot twist, foreshadowing and plot progression. Others like Gintama or hxh are character driven
His thumbnail- watched 300+anime guide for beginners Me who have watched almost *800* Anime in the past two months be like Hmmmmmmm..he is surely a beginner 😂
800/30 x 2 =13.33333 you'd have to watch more than 13 animes in a day , and let's take the bare minimum of an anime series as 12 eps. 12x13 is 156 eps a day which is about 52 hours of content a day even if u skipped ops and eds. you be watching 52 hours of content in 24 hours. as expected you are a LIAR
@@woah9637 hahahahaha I was never lying if you think it's humanly impossible you are wrong I watch at 2x to 3x speed also in Subbed each Anime it fishes less than half the time you watch 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I m not a liar you are stupid!!!
@@woah9637 Also FYI there are animes with just one episode or atleast 4 episodes and some with over hundreds so at the end it balances out and as usual watching in 2x or (sometimes 3x)speed minimum gives me twice extra time to watch more than YoU can! I totally remember watching Naruto + Shippuden (700ep) in 3.5 days And by the time you write another comment I would finish another episode of some ANIME So goodluck using your calculations on human possibilites!!
@@ANIMExVIBES idk who's more idiotic, me who gave a shit about your comment or you, who's watching shows at 3x speed just to show off the amount of time you wasted watching cartoons 💀💀
Has anyone watched 91 days? I'm a casual anime fan. Love Kurukos basketball, toradora, and Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon, so I'm not too picky, I saw a clip and it looks cool, just seeing if anyone else would second it
If I may add my favorite ones: - SAMURAI CHAMPLOO (amazing animation style, Killer OST, lovable characters) - MUSHI-SHI (a bit slow paced but magical) - GHOST IN THE SHELL - GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA - NINJA SCROLL - DRAGON BALL
I actually started with one piece and loved it, even though it is daunting it never felt like a chore to watch it all as a lot of people make it out to be. for someone who has tried anime in the past and never grappled on to it op really opened my eyes to anime actually being good (anime i tried before was fairy tale, naruto, one punch man, they just never clicked for me).

4) Erased (BEST TIME TRAVEL OTHER THAN Steins gate)
5) 86 ( war action)
6) FMAB ( redemption story)
7) Violet evergarden (raw emotions/tear jerker)
Thank you so much for this list. I got into anime about a year ago with Aot and was recently looking for new ones to watch. I’ve watched most of the ones on your list but I think I’m going to check out ranking of kings.
Check out mob psycho 100 it is one of my favourite anime

I started watching anime seriosuly ffrom last year..I am done with Death parade, Dragon Ball, Naruto and AOT..now I am on the way to now watch all the anime I can in the next few months before I start my job ..I have been watching your shorts for some time and today iI got this rec...I am happy to be on this anime journey honestly!
AOT ENDING BROKE ME BTW..
OMGGG THE BEST PLOT EVERRRRRRRRRRRR
The Attack on Titan + Vinland saga was a god combo ;)
Action:
JJK - is super super good! Love love love it and I can't wait for the next season!
KnY - love this one! only watched s1 tho, def need to continue
Fantasy:
Tensei Slime - again super good! Love it and such an exciting watch
Ranking of Kings - dropped this one, wasn't my anime but I can see why people like it
(I think for fantasy I personally would've recommended Mahoutsukai no Yome, high fantasy with faeries, magical creatures, dragons, herbology, cottagecore vibes, but has a few dark sides, everything you need in a fantasy world is here! But maybe not beginner friendly? as it's high fantasy w/ complex world)
Adventure:
Aot - love it, will not rewatch it cuz it just made me sad but love it
Vinland Saga - underrated, absolutely love it
Drama:
fruits basket - was good, wasn't great, but cute, great characters
death parade - love it, love the world/theme
As a fan of Romance genre have to admit "Fruits basket" is cheff kiss and definitely deserves the hype .

I personally don't really think that Death Parade should be on someone's starter pack. It has a deep meaning and convoluted plot about life and it's meaning. For drama instead, I recommend Your Name (it's an anime movie but it's a really good starting point for beginner). Plus, it is one of the most popular anime movie too so everyone is pretty much know about that
Yes 😂 it was one of my initial anime i was bored by it but after watching many anime i re-watched it and it's 😳
Agreed
Death Parade was my first anime....
@@samu-chan my gosh. How did u feel?

I have been watching anime for 22yrs now and I couldn't agree more with your list...every anime you recommended under every category and every view point you have towards these anime are so accurate or atleast its exactly the same as me....this is the best beginners recommendation I have ever come across

As a man who has finished over 350+ anime, I can say this list is *LEGIT*
I highly agree with every recommendation on here, though I still haven’t watched death parade.
300+ animes? Rookie numbers
Ive watched like 4 animes and the first was like 4 years ago
One piece?🤣🤣🤣🤣@@BiggyMalk
either way its sad
@@Len-p6v neh
My first 3 anime was death note, AOT & demon slayer. Definitely recommend those 3.
My first anime was Demon Slayer ❤
Demon Slayer is how I got into anime as I went a friends party and they told me about it I wasn’t interested at first then like half a year later I watched it and LOVED it
We need shoujo recommendation from Billy 😚😚
I'm about to begin my anime journey. So imma use this as my guide. Ty
If JJK is right up your alley, I highly recommend :
JJK and demon slayer (my personal favorite) as recommended, Hunter x Hunter, my hero academia, assassination classroom, Akame Ga Kill, Yu Yu Hakisho. Those to me are MUST watch action packed anime. Definitely give them a try and give them a chance too. Hunter x hunter for example starts a little slow but is legit easily top 3 best anime ever created.

When I heard fruit basket I got so happy. The ending is better then I ever could have hoped for. 🥰
Is fruit basket has happy ending?
@fatima-xs9ji I think so! You'll just be sad it's over lol.
Some of my recommendations which are super underrated 🤧
1. Elfen field , Kill la kill
2. Akame ga kill
3. Devilman crybaby
4. Death parade
5. Baccano! , My teen romantic comedy snafu
6. Mushi shi
7. Yona of the dawn
Honourable mentions : Magi , Barakamon , Kakuriyo no yadomeshi , Tomodachi game, Deadman wonderland, Prison school , Kiss him, not me , Tokyo raven , free , SK8 the infinity 💜
Elfen lied is piece of shitest anime 🤮🤮
I personally recommend you don't watch attack on titon as the first anime. It's a very great anime, and one of my favourite, but it might be little overwhelming to watch it as a first anime, maybe after watching like 10 or more animes, you'll love it, if you watch till end. The end is epic.
My bad 😅😅😅
I’m anime-curious 😂 trying to find a series to get into. I liked Gundam and DBZ as a kid, and as an adult I’ve only really watched Space Dandy (❤❤❤❤) and Miyazaki films. But I’m going through a really hard time rn and I got the random urge to watch a new series. Thanks for the video 👍
Watch hajime no ippo or maybe ashita no joe if you want
Love your videos!!! Watched everything on the list✨
Same lol 💀💀💀
I’ve watched a lot of shonen anime and the shonen anime he picked is pretty good
I used to come from a beginner phase and would still consider a partial beginner. I would say ive watched enough anime to decide what works for a beginner and what not. Bear in mind I hated anime and absolutely did not fathom I would ever watch anime. But here I am.
im gonna list down some anime that I believe beginners would enjoy. this may or may not work for you but it did to me
1. Death note
2. Erased
3. Code Geass
4. Tokyo Ghoul
5.Demon slayer
6. Hxh
7. Tomodachi game
Overtime as you watch more anime, you will get to know what genre works for you and what doesn’t.
You are a real one for recommending hxh
My list , of animes i watched so far
1.MHA(first anime i ever watched badass ,cool fights ,action powers, characters, cant wait for season7)
2.assassination classroom(comedy, badass, cool actions, assassination, and a long emotional journey)
3.Demon Slayer(ofc top tier animations, fight scenes, beautiful plot)
4.COTE(op protagonist, psychology ,thriller, plot twists)
only four yikes, and i recommend all of these.
As a person who fell in love with the first fruits basket its hard for me to get back into the new one because of all the new music. The character main theme music is just stuck in my head along with the natural score of the anime. The new one is still very good and to the unbiased eye is better but for me it was hard.
Is fruit basket has sad ending??
your wolf cut is really well styled
I would have loved to see Terror in Resonance on this list. I feel like it's the perfect anime to get someone into anime.
300 animes? tf man! thats a lot. bro was born to watch anime, i have only watched 2, with that being solo leveling, deathnote, and i still have season 2 left of jjk
I agree with jjk and demon slayer, they are the best beginners anime, i loved anime with these to + one punch man and my hero academia
My hero was my first
the list is kinda mid ngl
Naruto was one of my first shows and I highly recommend it for beginners. I was in my mid 20s when I started watching anime and I was already pretty busy, so I like shows that are good background shows. Once things picked up and got more interesting I started paying more attention.
i freaking saw a 4 year old with a plushie Goku from Dragonball Z at church this morning. i was honestly so surprised that he watches an anime when he's 4.
(i'm not criticizing his parents for allowing him to watch anime, i'm just surprised that he was watching anime at that age.)
Someone who’s watched to much anime in the past year, this is such a good list.
When you see your favourite anime, it makes you smile dont you think?
It really does lol
Yep it does make me smile
Respect for having Ace of Diamond in the thumbnail. Its my favourite shounen anime and its criminally underrated
I noticed that Animes like Tokyo Revengers and Haikyuu are also super popular among beginners
Takemitchy annoyed me so much
i dropped both lol
Didn't finish Tokyo Revengers because of Takemitchi's irritating ass.
I've been watching anime for a few years and my first anime was actually Naruto. So Naruto and One piece can be a great first anime because they have the best story/ character development ever. Right now I'm actually rewatching Naruto.
6:32 that transition was so smooth
I binged all the animes you have recommended in this video and my fave was Attack on Titan!
Unbelievable absolute masterpiece.
It has piqued my interest in manga and i have now started binge reading one piece which i am enjoying a lot... Upto the skypea arc

Tokyo ghoul
STEINS GATE
@@OTAKUFOREVER2348And
Gurren lagann (power of humanity)
86(mecha war)
Erased ( great time travel show)
i have watch all of them and it is good for new anime watchers
Vineland saga is seriously underrated. It has one of the best plot and story of animes i've ever seen and i've been watching anime for 4 years now
My list:
Okay, you MUST watch Erased. It’s still one of my favorite anime, with an amazing plot and surprise and a mystery, and brings many emotions to viewers.
Second, Black Clover. This anime is a dub. Unlike Naruto, it has characters that are well-developed and the episodes get better everytime. (Please bear Asta’s voice in the first 20 episodes.)
Third, if you’re a horror movie watcher, The Promised Neverland is perfect. Don’t watch season 2 though. It’s about kids that find they’re in a child-farm made for eating them. Three kids come up with a plan to escape their house, and mother. Really amazing plot, plot twists, and brings tears to my eyes. That’s all for now, I’m too lazy to write more
When I saw ichigo, I was so happy!!!
I am in 10th episode
Oh wow another list I have to watch. Some I have saw already as a beginner. Yo this list is so good. I just started watching in October and I’ve been hooked
I am beginner and my 9 th anime is one piece and I finished it in 3 months and I liked it.
I got bored out of nowhere and couldn’t think of any anime to watch, so thanks!!!
I started on my anime journey when I was 10 with Naruto I am now 13 and still have not finished all of it. I have watched a lot of other anime though. I also read a lot of manga.
Whats ur favourite
@@SeemsLikeIt8 My favourite animes so far are Hunter Hunter and Naruto.

Glad to see someone recommending Ranking Of kings. It has simple animation but great story and characters
Demon Slayer, AOT, and Fruits Basket are in my top 5 favorite animes of all time. Haikyuu and My Hero Academia are also on that list!

I have to agree sub is better. Im currently watching Sonic X sub and its hilarious. The dub version is cheesy
Just watched all of demon slayer because of this list. 100% gonna find another right now! Thank you!

Haikyuu is a nobrainer for sure!

my first ever anime was demon slayer and man it did the job for me now im hooked
I'm watching anime since 2015. I also heard about "Fruits Basket" a few times, but I was never interested in it, because I thought it was a stupid romance anime, that I won't like. But this recommendation just bought me. ❤ ok now I want to watch it. It looks really cool. :)
(Sorry for my English. Correct me if I wrote something wrong)
I think I already saw you on Tiktok with some AOT stuff and it was funny af😎😂
Your picks are so good!
Magi in the manga became more of a masterpiece than AOT
@@faizissa8617lol imagine saying better then aot
@@legendarygamerx5059 You didn't read Magi
@@faizissa8617 not haven't read but watched the seasons which are already there and there's not even a comparison, yes manga would be better but still nothing comes close to Aot's plots/story, foreshadowing, writing
@@legendarygamerx5059 Man stop this and go read Magi.
The manga of Magi is the only shonen that rivals Aot in plot twist, foreshadowing and plot progression.
Others like Gintama or hxh are character driven
I love how both the adventure anime’s have so much gore but is sooo good you can’t stop.

Me who have watched almost *800* Anime in the past two months be like Hmmmmmmm..he is surely a beginner 😂
800/30 x 2
=13.33333
you'd have to watch more than 13 animes in a day , and let's take the bare minimum of an anime series as 12 eps.
12x13 is 156 eps a day which is about 52 hours of content a day even if u skipped ops and eds.
you be watching 52 hours of content in 24 hours.
as expected you are a LIAR
@@woah9637 hahahahaha I was never lying if you think it's humanly impossible you are wrong
I watch at 2x to 3x speed also in Subbed each Anime it fishes less than half the time you watch 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I m not a liar you are stupid!!!
@@woah9637 Also FYI there are animes with just one episode or atleast 4 episodes and some with over hundreds so at the end it balances out and as usual watching in 2x or (sometimes 3x)speed minimum gives me twice extra time to watch more than YoU can!
I totally remember watching Naruto + Shippuden (700ep) in 3.5 days
And by the time you write another comment I would finish another episode of some ANIME
So goodluck using your calculations on human possibilites!!

Has anyone watched 91 days? I'm a casual anime fan. Love Kurukos basketball, toradora, and Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon, so I'm not too picky, I saw a clip and it looks cool, just seeing if anyone else would second it
Who’s here in 2024?
Me
I also recomend Toilet bound Hanako kun. If you Like a Bit horror and Romance ,this Anime is perfect. And the style will Make you rethink your life😭
If I may add my favorite ones:
- SAMURAI CHAMPLOO (amazing animation style, Killer OST, lovable characters)
- MUSHI-SHI (a bit slow paced but magical)
- GHOST IN THE SHELL
- GREAT TEACHER ONIZUKA
- NINJA SCROLL
- DRAGON BALL
I actually started with one piece and loved it, even though it is daunting it never felt like a chore to watch it all as a lot of people make it out to be. for someone who has tried anime in the past and never grappled on to it op really opened my eyes to anime actually being good (anime i tried before was fairy tale, naruto, one punch man, they just never clicked for me).
Need some anime series recommendations and gladly I found this video.
One anime that I recommend is vampire knight but not as your first, I found it a bit hard to take everything in.
