  • Zim interviews PFF's Steve Palazzolo to pick his brains on the 2024 Draft and ask him how the Bengals may do in the new season.
And there's one guy in there that he's VERY hot on.
Find out why Steve Palazzolo thinks third-round pick Jermaine Burton could be a huge part of the Bengals success during 2024.
He also rates first-round pick Amarius Mims and says whether he would have picked Brock Bowers instead if he was still there when the Bengals picked at 18.
The PFF expert also rates second-round pick Kris Jenkins and explains highlights from the rest of Cincinnati's Draft.
We end with Zim saying why Joe Burrow needs to chill out and rest that arm!

I agree. Jermaine Burton is going to be a handful for opposing DB’s. Burrow will love him!

Zac Taylor almost fell out of his chair when Jermaine Burton was still on the board in 3rd round!

So glad the Bengals fleshed-out the the TE room. They got Mike Gesicki, Erick All and Tanner McLachlan. All three have solid potential. TEs can help control the middle of the field, which according to Solomon Wilcot, should be a goal if you want to "stretch" the field and win.
I know Erick has had a couple of telling injuries but this guy was probably a top 10 pick if his ACL hadn't been torn. If all works out for him, he's very reminiscent of either Kelce or Gronk. Same for Tanner who moved heaven and earth to play at Arizona. His personal story is a "Rudy" football story with even a better ending because he ends-up in the NFL! Get this he was a transfer to Utah and a walk-on at the University of Arizona ... where he broke Gronk's long held yardage record.
All three of these tight ends are fast, run great slants, are huge targets on the field, are similar in build to Gronk and Kelce, think the smallest guy is 6'5". They are fast and run allusive routes.
The Bengals recruited a heck of a TE room which will give defensive coordinators fits and cold sweats!!

Just off the topic but I hate the Cordell slander. Give a man 3 years for progression. If he shows improvement let him stay I'm the spot until he gets beat out

I think that’s kinda the problem. He really ain’t progressed much and 3 years is a long time for a team trying to win now lol.
