I have the BOG DeathGrip Infinite Carbon Fiber Tripod and it has different dimensions. I had to cut the stem off of the ball to remove it. I next placed the Barker conversion adapter through the empty tripod base (no pvc/tape needed) and put some blue loctite, and tightened the base just a little more than hand tight. I placed my WEYLLAN CH55 Heavy Duty 360 Panoramic Tripod Head to it. I then removed the BOG Deathgrip ARCA adapter and attached the Little Crow DGA/ARCA Adapter to the bottom of the BOG DEATHGRIP. Just as good as a RRS Tripod! It holds my SAKO 300 WM and AR10 w/o a problem.

I found that the older one is more sturdy.

Yes and I get peace of mind with the original version I’ve recently bought,I weighed up the pro and con in the shop, and the original version’s weight is not an issue as it’s strong enough to easily support my fx crown mk2 that I spent over a grand on😂,and it does exactly the same thing as the infinite version apart from the ball joint deathgrip upgrade, but I’m a target 🎯 only hobbyist and not a hunter so I guess it’s what suits your needs that matters, and both do that awesomely, great video too buddy and good thought to do additional videos for each of the different levels of tripod leg levels to show use in prone situations and kneeling too 👍
