Just to convince you to actually set up spitter farms, your rule of "no defenses", while challenging, also reduces the amount of pretty biter deaths. I think spitter farms is a good compromise to ensure that the bugs still get what they deserve, we still get to see a taste of what automated "defenses" look like, while still leaving the perimeter of the base wide open. Win-Win-Win-Win!
Because of these videos I ended up starting my own 1000x science cost save file (without biters though) After seeing how much time I have to wait for new techs at 900spm in early game, I don't know if I should say "Thank you!" or "Curse you!"
