But the network is still operational but in a limited way (via cable and online platforms). Not in free tv (congressional franchise required). The free tv is tv frequency used by our gov't. So the tv networks in the ph need congresional franchise to operate. Sadly to say, the effect of ABS-CBN shutdown was losing 11,071 jobs after denial of franchise starting august. So the only way to bring back to air via free tv is to wait in 2022 or we have called people's initiative so over 7 million filipinos need signatures to bring back on air that said tv network. So the tv networks in the ph need congresional franchise to operate. Sadly to say, the effect of ABS-CBN shutdown was losing 11,071 jobs after denial of franchise starting august. So the only way to bring back to air via free tv is to wait in 2022 or we have called people's initiative so over 7 million filipinos need signatures to bring back on air that said tv network. We, millions of filipinos are calling to our gov't to bring back ABS-CBN on air again.
@@ARDIYAN ABS-CBN had sign-off on May 5, 2020 due to NTC's (National Telecommunication Commission) due to lack of Franchise. And on June 10, 2020. House of Representatives denies the New Franchise of ABS-CBN which made the network so upset. 11,071 jobs are going to die. We all believe that this is Political Problem and not just 'Franchise Renewal'
