Hi. Thanks for the video.
If you don't mind, I'd like to add a tip. When I have to pry up plastic parts, instead of a knife or screw drivers I use guitar picks. Actually guitar and bass picks, so some of them are more flexible and some are stronger.
This way, you can get the plastic parts out without risking getting something scratched.
I also bought a plastic pry bar set similar to ones used to remove cars' upholstery.Nothing fancy, cheap stuff from the supermarket, but pretty useful.

Oh! I found the little hole just to the inside area on the ls battery release tab.
I used a computer tiny flatblade screwdriver to release the lock.
So easy!
The ram cover just pops right up!!

It is my old machine.. very old from ~2009. I want to buy a new battery as there is a SW on it i need. The laptop looks to be same as what is one your vid. Screen is 10 - 1/8 inch.
