This will never happen. The Coliseum will sit vacant until demolished and then it will be an empty lot.
Whatever it is the Colusium needs a big renovation, whatever. Since Warriors left, and Raiders left. It's sad the state of the Colusium is right now, compared to other stadiums, but if something good could come out of it store, apartments, etc. It's the for a renovation. And give the As a new stadium somewhere else in Oakland

Who cares just make affordable housing. People need places to live. There are so many people on fixed incomes who cant afford todays risong costs.
Look at the prices of homes around that area. They aren’t looking to create affordable housing they are going to gentrify that area they just have a black face for PR. This right down the street from the Oakland airport. It will be hotels and condos with a few Below Market Rate options just like all of the other “affordable housing” that has been built. This is an easy solution but zoning laws in CA prohibit high rise apt building construction. Any idiot could tell you that if more high rises existed in this state that we wouldn’t have a housing crisis.
