The point of John speaking about himself in 3rd person is not because of his glorification of himself, on the contrary ... it's because of his diminishing of himself and putting an emphasis on the honour of Jesus's love - the honour of being loved by Jesus.

John was in Rome and they tried to Boil him Alive when that Failed and they did not know what to do with him they sent him to the Island of Patmos and he lived out the Rest of his Life while also writing from God Revelations and then he died. There is only one and just one that is fully alive and that is Jesus Christ. Until Jesus Christ comes back no one and I mean no one will be Resurrected until Jesus comes back so like Paul says make sure you are Trusting in Jesus Christ for the hope of the 1st Resurrection of the Righteous whether you are living or dead because the 2nd Resurrection is going to be way more beyond harder to get in that the 1st.

      True.
Jesus "appeared" to die. He lives. He is Eternal.
We are all Eternal in the One Body of Christ. No one dies.
You cannot kill Jesus. You cannot kill yourself.
You cannot "kill" anyone. Ever. So don't try.
In Gaza, those who live by the sword are paying the price.
Netanyahoo should pick up a Bible and study it CLOSELY.
Jesus is the KING OF THE JEWS. Not Netanya-who-sit.
Jesus lives. He's in the BIBLE.
...and he is in the Qu'ran. And the Jews KNOW it.
The Muslims and the Christians have the SAME MESSIAH.
Ruslan never reads the Qu'ran to his kid, does he?
      Maybe he should.
      Or not.
why do I care what Ruslan reads?
God is the All-Powerful. Not me.
      Vaya con Dios.

I just read The Bible cover to cover for the first time in my life and that verse in Luke perplexed me “there are some standing here, which shall not taste death, till they see the kingdom of God”. Wild, and does that mean someone literally standing in Jesus’ presence at that moment? Does he mean not tasting death as in some would be saved into everlasting life and therefor not tasting death?

Matthew 16:28 Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”
Matthew 10:23 You shall not finish going through the cities of Israel, until the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 24:34 “This generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
Matthew 26:64From now on, you shall be seeing the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
1 Corinthians 10:11 “Now these things …were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.”
1 Thessalonians 5:23“May your spirit and soul and BODY be preserved complete, without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thess. 1:6-7It is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire.
Hebrews 10:37 For yet in a very little while, He who is coming will come, and will not delay
James 5:7 Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the coming of the Lord

Okay y'all I know this is a stretch but play along with me in thought.
The two witnesses; everyone agrees on Elijia, its the second one that is a mystery.
We can believe that both witnesses must not have died at any point because the Word says, "it is appointed to man once to die then the judgement". This is why people want to speculate about John not dying. But "what if":
Let me take your mind to another mystery of the Bible to ponder. We are told that Michael fought with Satan over the "BODY" of Moses, not Moses' "SOUL". So, what made Moses body so important? We know that it would have been prepared in the usual way, so what's the importance of Moses' body? Nowhere else do we see the angels contending for a "body", why here?
Take a breath now and think before you respond, I told you it was a stretch, but "what if?"
What if Moses wasn't actually "dead" when he was prepared, but rather in a coma??? This would explain the importance of having possession of Moses' body.
We are told that no one knows where God put Moses' body. Think about it... Why couldn't God sustain Moses body until the time for witnessing came again?
