I've been waiting for more than a year since the announcement of new Chery models coming to M'sia. Have plans to buy a new car, but patiently waiting for THIS. Chery never disappointed me. 13 years of owning a Chery Tiggo 3, there were absolutely no issues at all with the engine, chassis, interior etc. Tho, there was a gearbox issue, but solved easily and its been 5 years since. Also just normal wear and tear and oil service. I really can't wait to test the Omoda 5 (hopefully to own one) and see what Chery has brought us 🤗😁

Suspension are smooth giler” sedap bawa bro 😅. apa lagi sudah terus booking 🤭. sebab local assembly. Kilang dekat kuantan. spare parts no issues. banyak order OMODA 5, need wait for 3 months 😢. Coz this could be a security risk where muggers can just open your passenger side door and grab your things if you're not paying attention. If this cherry comes with 5 years free service, items and labour, unlimited mileage warranty as standard package then it is a serious business. This will benefit to the customers, better resale value and also a great long term business plan. People love free stuff, car will be taken care of within 5 years, used car buyer love to buy well maintained car, first owner loves to sell the car with a reasonable good price, more people might consider to buy cherry, business goes boom!

About this particular car, spec wise it might sound appealing but straight up i gotta say i hate the front grill it just makes me feel something is crawling under my skin. The fact that they chose to go solo this time without a local partner is something that soon we gonna see the results of it and i personally think they should've pick a local partner considering their unsuccessful previous attempt in our market. U see there's a reason company's need a local partner and tbh in our market there's a lot of different looking cars fron various manufacturers and we're not on short of variety in our market so i think cheery needs way more than a weird looking car to hold a ground here.

Don't be fooled by the looks and pound foolish penny wise. Don't you guys know what China made cars in Malaysia always have problems with spare parts. Though X70 and X50 are locally assembled, there is still issue with the spare parts. Insider in Proton told me that the China manufacturer's mentality is to make buyer's buy new car rather than repair. This China cars are actually very cheap but because of the tax and excise duties by the govt. Ask the owner X50 and X70. December 2021 flooded X50 & X70 cars still not solved yet and some argued that the engine parts too expensive! Think again if you want to buy another China car. Because of that, they don't have resale value. I see a lot of stupid and immature comments here. This car got no front bumper hence the nice grill in front if just kiss the front car, you have to change the front panel with the grill. So it comes back to spare part availability again. Buyers beware!
