Can't thank you enough for this video. Bought a regulator for £30 on eBay and was able to fix this in about 2 hours with your help. Was expecting it to take me days! My biggest problem was how tight the torx bolts were on the regulator I nearly stripped one that was holding the window. Hand tools kept slipping for me. Ended up using a drill with t30 torx bit and doing very sharp presses of the trigger to get enough torque. I'm guessing an impact driver might have come in handy here.
This was very helpful, as this just happened to y drivers door window and its below freezing. Thing is, the same thing happened to the passanger door about a mounth ago. Im not looking forward to fixing this tomorrow in the cold. This seems to be a thing with the fabias. Mine is the mark 1 version .

first of all Thanks for such a useful video. Useful video . there is an issue almost the same with my fabia combi 2003. Mine the driver side buttons include side mirror and central locking. The central lock works but with the remote key, and i checked the fuse that was in good condition and i checked the wires there was electric just at one wire that is all. What could be the prob. Thank you.
Rode wirelessgo. Brilliant job. Usb rechargeable. You don't get a mic with it so i splashed and bought the Rode lavalier that's recommended. There's a two mic version just out that Sandy has.
Can see this car could being the focus of a few videos Dave. I'd be scared to scan it with VCDS in case it throws more errors than Trump's election campaign!
