This is is a great tool! I have owned one since December. The paper does not slide on the surface (no tape needed). It allows you to use different types of stamps without changing the top plate (like Tim Holtz's product) as the hinge moves accordingly. This is my Favorite!

Misti is way overpriced. And lots of reports of it cracking.
Check out the Hampton Arts press. Way less expensive and uses magnets. LOVE IT!!!!!
Looks cheap to me. I think I will stick with my original MISTI.
