老外不是很能理解这首歌的氛围，比如红颜旧他们会翻译为“she is old”，还有蜡炬成灰泪难干就直接翻译“candle”之类的，完全没有哭干眼泪的那种忘川三途的思念感，托鸿雁南去不知此心何寄也翻译不出来那种意境，反正翻译的人貌似也不知道鸿雁还有“书信”的意思，还有斗转星移，基本都是翻译成“star moving”，一首能和《my heart will go on》媲美的歌，硬生生被翻译成了人与自然主题曲，还好作曲挽回了80%的好评。我也一直试图向他们解释，要沉浸在氛围里，但真的不知道该如何表达。

I don't know Chinese but I know that I can fully understand what you're trying to say. The vibe this song gives just conveys it all without any verbal explanation. As they say music is also another language. And as you compared it to , " my heart will go on." I'd like to say that this song is very much more soulful and poignant with this undescribable nostalgia that even makes me drift into a fictional past that I didn't even have.

This song is so relaxing and calming. I'm Vietnamese/Chinese (Hong Kong). I grew up listening to this type of music, around my house when I was a baby. I guess that's where I grew my love for traditional Chinese music.
