Many whom grew up in the faith thru Parental and Parochial education fall away because of Worldy/Collective pressure and opposition or simply take salvation for granted. My Path was not so. Having been Confirmed in Faith at the age of 33 I was exuberant and Hopeful for the Gifts of Salvation and redemption, but as the "Pink Cloud" wore-off I fell into despair and depression to the point were I was compelled to search for the true mean of faith...
As an agnostic individual, I have no shame or problem in seeing the profound spirituality that is implicit in this beautiful rendering. If it helps some people to grow (as I am sure it does)and be warm to their brothers and sisters, then the purpose has been served.
