@@Roll_Cast yeah but then you gotta factor in fuel, cost of a slip, insurance, maintenance. Operating costs make it a lot more if you intend to do anything other than just sit in the marina
@@Fitz710which is all a fraction of the total cost of the boat. With boats you are to expect 2% of it's total price in fuel and upkeep monthly when used regularly.
@@MondoChow777 2% of 400k is 8k. That’s 100k PER YEAR just in upkeep. 2% doesn’t sound too bad until you do the math

Yes there is. It's all relative. This boat isn't even breaking 7 figures while there are mega yachts that are hundreds of millions.

Most boats that size have upwards of 200 gallons so 150 isn’t very small but it is smaller than average

It's super cool but I'd say it's a cabin cruiser and not a yacht. A yacht would have more private birthing, probably a better galley and an enclosed saloon instead of an unenclosed cockpit deck.

Which one? The whalers I looked at all said around 66 gallons. I’m just trying to figure out where on a 21 foot boat you could fit a 120 gallon gas tank. I have a 21 foot North River Seahawk and it has a 20 gallon tank

Entry Level - but still only a small percentage of people can actually afford to buy and run one - fuel costs alone will be very high unless you just sit on it in the expensive marina.

Beautiful but if the 400k right that's not what I'd call entry level
There's no way I would want to stuff 15 people in that boat. That's more of a family boat, for a couple or a couple with two kids. Plus, 50 gallons of water is not enough, unless you use it for a single day. But what if you want to go to the Bahamas for a week? You might want to install a watermaker. And I would choose outboards just to free up some interior space.
i want a massive yacht that is specifically built for only two humans and a bunch of dogs instead of "guests" because if i have enough money for said yacht i wont be hanging out near humans lmao
What’s the base price for the outboards two or three? What type of outboards? Mercs / Yamaha. What’s the cruise speed? Does it come with a generator, if so, how much is the price with the generator?

i... don't like it. its fair weather/blue water only. consider that the entire top deck is open... there is no doors and it doesn't even look like you could easily mount canvas covering to the back. this leave the helm open to weather effects... sure is protected from rain and snow... but cold... if you are driving around the north east... you are going to need to be bundled up... specially if you hit an ice fog event.
same problem with doing the great loop... while good at seas, now you are on a river with mosquito's and no netting.
Is this good for river travel too?

You just have to hope only one engine malfunctions. If both suffer a casualty you would have to get towed. Hybrid and marine don’t go together in the same sentence.

Not a yacht at all. A yacht is a vessel over 45’ built for recreation/leisure
To me, a yacht has passenger comfort accomodations more than this boat has. Yachts have private cabins, enclosed saloons and larger galleys. Check out a Meridian 341 for example. It would be is the smallest yacht with private birthing, a real galley, a spacious head and enclosed saloon. A Meridian 391 has a dry head and separate shower with all the above. Both have fly bridges and are sub 45ft.
