My first jet still have not flown it yet but it got me hooked so I bought six more Jets on different kinds just in case I crash one I got another to fly before I fix the other one look to your channel for set up to advise thank you very much you're awesome pilot Ryan
STICKEM MONKEY PANTS. nice job on this one Ry. Congratulations on your first horizon sponsored video. We appreciate you my man. Horizon is lucky to have a great soul.
Ryan, I'm hoping someone will come out with an F-14 comparable to the discontinued ArtTech F14. I've managed to ding mine up pretty bad and can't find replacement parts. This plane cost me $199 with the battery and transmitter. I like it except no rudder which really sucks in crosswinds. The only other choice I'm aware of is the Freewing F14, but I'm not down with spending $700 plus for a fully operational one.
i'm pretty sure that's an FMS. Removed the landing gear and installed wing skid protectors on the belly for landing. Hand launch is a breeze and it goes pretty fast.
Ricky P Ryan... had to move the battery all the way back to not put in elevator trim. Also you have to be real careful setting aileron and elevator. Maiden without SAFE and it was rolling left. In my case the right elevator was off just a little.
Hi Pilot Ryan , are these the same planes with and without ordenance? Did you use magnets for the ordenance? In the book you have to glue the ordenance .
How can activate SAFE for mine? I have a spektrum DSMR DXE transmitter which is compatible but so far, I've not been able to activate it for the three flight modes. I'm stuck on that. I'm happy it has as3x but that can only do so much.
Nice f16...Did u have to adjust the gyro settings after changing the linkage to outer hole on the elvtr? It says in the manual you may have to do so. I just brought one trying to get as much info on this bird before I maiden her.
Hello pilot Ryan can you please tell me your low medium high rate settings or at least tell me what's good for a Advanced pilot who just got into Jets I also own the F15 Eagle I don't know if I can use the same settings from that Jet thank you
Im confused i just picked this up dirt cheap love it but i run a 2200 4s all the way back and definitely added up trim before i flew it per your recommendation so how are you running with the pack up front lol i still have up sub trim ?
Looks Nice this F-16 have my finish build and painted the Rocket like the Original white smile have buy it without this 3 axis system, only wait for better weather here in Switzerland -1 degrees
Awesome video. Gutted that this model is being discontinued. Almost managed to get one of the last ones in the Uk. But unfortunately it was damaged by courier. So had to go with the f15 instead. Keep up great videos...
What is the best Controller to use on the E-flite F16 Falcon because I bought a FlySky remote controller for the jet but it doesn't want to Bind to the F-16 so I'm having problems I need some help Ryan.
What do you think is better? The Freewing Rebel v2 70mm or the E-flite F-16 64mm?I think the realistic look from the F-16 is really coll, but I really like the retracts from the Rebel too. So I want to know, what would you say is the better jet? And why? Or even something completely different? And I dont want to spent too much money for my first Jet, because I am only 13 so I dont want a 6s Jet. (Sorry if bad grammar, english is not my main langauge...)
Hello it looks amazing just like a real one. I have a question the price is 179 but still have to buy a battery and the transmitter how much do I have to pay for the transmitter and the battery for it?
Hi Ryan i Just ordered mine as my first jet because it went on sale. Just wanted to ask if I need to set the elevator a little up when I set up the plane? Thank you
Hey. I just bought this jet with a dx6e and a spectrum battery the jet calls for. Had to buy an ar636a from eBay so I don't murder it. I haven't had a maiden flight yet. Was wondering if you would help me set this this up on the remote side.
Hey Ryan awesome flight. Nice camera work guys. So flew the F16 yesterday and took off with wheels. She likes to tilt with the narrow wire wheel stance if runway isn’t smooth. Tried batterie forward but had better luck with it back. But landed great. Did a wheelie all the way to stop. Having the F15 too the F16 might be a tad slower but so much more maneuverable. It’s a toss up. But I like F16s. Thanks for all the info and setup advise.
Really nice flight 😀 Can you show what te top speed is with gps i think everybody would be suprised 😉 without missiles and landinggear. would be awesome
Nice flight Ryan-what was the flight time and cell readings post flight though with it clean (no ordinance). Half tempted to get one of these myself now after seeing that!
Hey guys awesome model and flying there u have a new subscriber, directed here by Capt.Blaz and Pilot Robert, Hey lol - Love the sexy bird in the sky - Cheers from Andrew Reece Melbourne Australia ..
Greetings, very good video, I wanted to ask you how difficult it is to fly it, it is very sensitive, very acrobatic, or is it allowed to maneuver, I have so far flown pure high-wing and delta-wing aircraft but I would like to try one of these, I would appreciate your opinion.
You definitely had to give it a little bit of a football throw, but I'm sure you could give it a little bit less just wanted to be sure it got up. She's definitely fast clean! Good job Mike on the camera nice to hear Bobby in the video too, and of course you were Ryan you did a great job as usual! How far forward what's your CG compared to what the book was recommending?
I have this same exact plane. Scared to fly it because new to this hobby and can't tell how far my ailerons are supposed to go up or down when I press right or left on the stick. They go up but not much. Is that normal? I have the push rods inserted in the holes for more throw. I need help. Haha. Anyone, please.
Rickey Nelson Jr as I said in the video I ended up landing on the most throw for elevator shown in the book and the least for aileron shown in the book. The manuals are good. Just follow their call outs and you’ll have a good shot.
Your flight reviews are interesting and I look forward to seeing them. Can you please remember that when you give the battery voltages after the flights you also give the percentage remaining, I don't have the voltages memorized. Thank you.
as3x is for those guys that don't or cant fly well....I take that stuff off of every plane I get that has it....I only like the plane doing stuff that I TELL IT …..im just old school I guess......GREAT flight guys
@@@Mode1RC oh I understand how they work....I just prefer to make the corrections for windy conditions myself and not rely on auto corrections...and you are rite it WONT make a bad pilot better....it will however make a GOOD pilot lax in his abilities to keep control of his model to the point of getting lazy on the sticks....of course I don't expect you or anyone else to agree with me....wasn't my intention...was just stating my opinion of as3x.....worthless to me but if one likes his models to do stuff on their own so the pilot can "relax" at the sticks then that's ok for those guys...just not for me.....I just know that when I fly...its all me and if I don't make the proper corrections then that's ALL ME AS WELL :) however you choose to fly...have fun man and be safe :)

They need to show your channel some love as this vid is gonna move some of these planes outta their warehouse. Also awesome to see some love for the grass ops guys. Outside of the USA I dont think there's many people flying off of tarmac and it has a big impact on the kind of planes we can run, would be great to see some more grass ops on the channel.
Cool video, nice review, Mike should get a raise, he rocks on that camera, I have the E-flite F-15 Eagle 64 mm, it seems more stable and little quicker, I fly with gear on but no ordinance, still waiting on the Marlin 64, this jet is going to be a big hit, price point and flying stability, not sure how it compares the Horizon Hobby Viper, which is my favorite jet, the Marlin is going to be very popular, Ryan, are you guys going to the Air Show at Grissom Air Base, Sept. 7th & 8th, we are driving up from Florida, my son is stationed at Grissom.......
Amazing how much I still learn about these planes by listening to your words. That F16 can easily have more power than it has elevator. Soon enough, I'll have a lightly equipped Eflite F15 tosser with an FPV cam. I'm training my kids on jets on the simulator now. Hey, say a quick wish em good luck prayer for me and my family. Just a rough moment patch. Not hard times because I can't be kept down. My past employer stuckittomemonkeypants. Ha ha. I'll let a lawyer sort it out while I find a great job elsewhere. why did they discontinue it? I was gonna get one
My first jet still have not flown it yet but it got me hooked so I bought six more Jets on different kinds just in case I crash one I got another to fly before I fix the other one look to your channel for set up to advise thank you very much you're awesome pilot Ryan
Ryan, I just can't get past the fixed gear :) Any flight with the gear pulled off?
Yes 7:20 in this video, 😂
We flew it a lot off camera without gear and ordnance and enjoyed it a lot. The Eflite 70mm f16 is my fave though
Nice.. ive just orderd one... The manual says 90-95mm from the leading Edge but flyers are saying its wrong and it should be 75-85mm..i'm confused .
F 16 Fighting Falcon. Most beautiful Airplane ... in the World.
STICKEM MONKEY PANTS. nice job on this one Ry. Congratulations on your first horizon sponsored video. We appreciate you my man. Horizon is lucky to have a great soul.
Greetings from Denmark. The Petrinčič brothers sent me here and i am staying. You guys make great videos. Thanks
I understand not flying the "ordinance" for belly landing. How did you fasten the ordinance so it could also be removed?
When I glued them on I just used a very small amount in spots rather than the whole contact surface
I just bought this and a dx8 transmitter , I’m upgrading from a hobbyzone carbon cub, it seems to fly really well
Where is the center of Gravity? I also have a 64mm F-16 but I feel nose heavy, everytime it took too long before taking off.
Trust the book, give it plenty of up at neutral. Slide battery back
@@PilotRyanMedia Yeah maybe I should do some adjustment, your F16 flies so smoothly while mine is just like a metal in the sky.
Super video Ryan, great camera work Mike, she’s a great flyer for sure, thanks guys👍🏼👍🏼💯💥

That hand launch was 100% awesome!
Thanks a lot
@@PilotRyanMedia
you made that looks so simple and easy! and I heard you didn't use SAFE! what!
Wait, how did you take the ordinance off? I thought they have to be glued in. I know it’s discontinued, but I’m getting one shortly.
I made sure I only glued them barely in
Small magnets on mine. Just got it too

Great job on all the videos....but please....buy some new hats that don't look like they've been through the washer 5 times. :)
i'm pretty sure that's an FMS. Removed the landing gear and installed wing skid protectors on the belly for landing. Hand launch is a breeze and it goes pretty fast.
The F-15 eagle or the F-16 which one is more stable for an advanced pilot
Can I use the Hubble transmitter on the Falcon 64 mm
You would have to transplant the electronics
There are 2 suggested CG settings. The manual says; 90-95mm, an addendum says; 75-85mm. Which is correct?
Addendum is right
Thanks Guys! @@PilotRyanMedia
Ricky P Ryan... had to move the battery all the way back to not put in elevator trim. Also you have to be real careful setting aileron and elevator. Maiden without SAFE and it was rolling left. In my case the right elevator was off just a little.

Great Video! I flew my viper yesterday for the first time. WOW First flight with a jet. It's really a thrill! Thanks and keep up the great work! Rich
I had one of those a few years ago set as a seed 400 brushless pusher prop. It was a blast to fly on 3s 2100 mah lipo’s.
Great review guys for a 4s Warbird guy like me this looks like a great option to try an EDF without having to buy 6s batteries.
Nice f16...Did u have to adjust the gyro settings after changing the linkage to outer hole on the elvtr? It says in the manual you may have to do so. I just brought one trying to get as much info on this bird before I maiden her.
What's the CG location. The manual says 90-95mm from thr leading Edge root, there is a Flyer in thr box that says 75-85mm. I'm confused
Hello my friend and congratulations for video. How many C is your battery and How is the maximum flight time? Thank you a lot!!
30c 3:00
@@PilotRyanMedia thank you for your answer! Only 3 minutes is the flying time? I thought with 2200mah 7-8 minutes.
How does the 5 16 compare to the f 15?
F15 flies better at this size
I need AS3X for those Sunday mornings after having a few the night before .Nice f16 I’m getting one. Thanks pilot Ryan for the demo

Safe mode on this and the f15 is great for hand launching!

Canon xa50

they should make them with the full elevator set up.. (check out freewing 64mm f18)
Is it possible to bind a mavic air controller to the eflight edf safe select rc jets
No
Very nice flight patterns. Are you using 30C battery and can the 50C battery be used?
Yes you can use higher c packs. We were using the Smart Battery 2200 4s from Horizon I think it is 30c
Do the missile lock in or do you glue them on?
Glue
Pilot Ryan and Capt. Mike RC thanks I just got mine , what battery do you use?
Hay budd all knowing one just got the fly cat from HobbyKing can you suggest how I set it up so I don't crash it lol

Unfortunately this model suffers the same fatal flaw as almost every other foam F-16s out there: not having full flying stab. Either you didn’t balance it correctly or your using too heavy of a battery... no plane should need excessive elevator to fly...
