It amazes me when kids who get drafted into the NHL from Sweden, Russia, Finland who all speak different languages from other countries come to the United States or Canada to play and they speak English so fluently? What the fuck lol If I went to Sweden or Finland and played a sport for 82 games a season my first year I'd pick up a bit of their language and a few words here and there but definitely not full sentences
+Cody Sawler We have English in school from the 2nd or third grade up, also if you watch movies they're mostly English and if you happen to play like video games it all helps a ton and you actually pick it up quite fast and young. Think its about the same in Sweden. We also have mandatory swedish in Finland, so basicly most people speak 3 languages to some extent.
I think each players mothers are North American, plus their fathers learned and knew English pretty well, so I would assume English was used quite often in their household as they grew up. And yes, Nylander was born in Canada but grew up in Sweden. Same with Jacob Chychrun, he was born in Florida but has lived in Canada his whole life so he's a dual citizen, and when it comes to International tourney's I believe if you have dual citizenship it's your choice which team you wanna play for.
Anybody know what Willy's favorite jersey number actually is? I've been trying to figure it out for a long time. He wore #88 when he played for Modo, #21 in the World Juniors... wish he would've said what his favorite number was.
Kappy is fucking hilarious. His little comments after Nylanders responses had me dying
+Derek IX "ohhh-kaaaay."
hahahaha "just a greasy goal"...I think all forwards secretly love those goals
These guys are awesome. Can't wait to see them with the big club in the future!

Game of Thrones goes NHL yes but where's rest of the cast? See only Joffrey interview here...WTF...seriously.
Question 21 - Are you going to re-sign with the buds?
21st question. When are you gonna sign that contract?
What year did they get drafted when they drafted in Toronto Maple Leafs
I am pretty sure Nylander was drafted in 2014
Kapanen wasn't drafted by the Leafs but traded there by the Pittsburgh Penguins for Phil Kessel.
Kappy and Willy!
Shoutout to Binghamton. Bingoo hometown reppin
Pastrňák. Yeah. That guy went 25th in the same draft as Willy, who went 8th. I love Nylander but fuck could Toronto use Pastrňák right now.
2:49 well right now you’re acting like quite the villain aren’t you?
no top shelf all day sorry but five hole on the ice he cant be serious and he isnt no way
Does he actually have tattoos?
no he doesn't Kap does though.
+David McCalla how do you noe
Cause if you see Kaps twitter or instragram he has tattoos on his arm. If you see Nylander's twitter or instragram he doesn't.
Truee. But maybe its somewhere else on his body.
+Kent W well if it's somewhere else on his body he would have said yes to having a tattoo. He doesn't have a tattoo.
21st question. When are you gonna sign that contract?
