It was awesome my friend! Let’s do it again!
Sounds great like all of your other stuff. This was a fun watch!
YES......... yes............yes yes yes..........yes yes yes yes yesYES......... yes............yes yes yes..........yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes............... yes yes yes yes...........
Yes......
Where can i listen to the full song?
@@maxdegraaf1333 we’d have to finish it :) 🤞🏼
@@erockomania Finish it please! It sounds so good.
Trivium’s Shogun album was recorded there. A metal masterpiece
Top 10 metal record of all time
My favorite album ever!
Really! I love that album. Was Eric the engineer and/or producer?
That pause for the reverb, while such a little touch, adds so much in that section
That is a brilliant touch. I’m going to use that at some point.
It’s where Megadeth recorded their last two albums.
Eric does fantastic things with his companies. I love string source and I ordered one of the cables too, very intrigued by the guitars as well!
Eric built the baritone for me this past year. Easily the best baritone I’ve played. Great vid Tyler and Eric 🤘🤘🤘
Nice! Maybe make this a series, eg Blues Masterpiece, Funk Masterpiece?
The first riff is almost Eye Of The Tiger and I'm into it.
Been following both of you for quite some time, and frankly, this just made my day!!!!!!!!
dude make more videos like this!
Eric mixed and mastered our EP! Great dude with great skills! But I want to know what that guitar chair is, ha!!
Hahaha same
This was epic!! Please release the entire song!
2:59 Yeah, that's a very big pick
A new album or even just a EP with songs like this would be so sick!
Eric is the best! A very good dude and super fun to work with. Those skervesens are insane to play and track with. Also had the privilege to buy one of his Element guitars which are awesome as well 🤘🏻
Eric Hill is an untapped resource in the music industry. The guy is brilliant!
❤❤
You two seem like friends. There is a good connection. The song sounded awesome! I want to hear the full thing right now!
bass head movements come out as soon as the bass hits the lap. Fuck yeah!!
Great job to both- super fun to watch and follow the muse w u
Love the track, specially the "soft" part!
Great vibe! Can't wait for the next one 🤙
Tyler, when do we get to hear the finished version in its entirety?
Man, you're the best! You became an important influence for me as a guitar player. Thanks a lot!!! lml
You know, when you realize you don't know squat about recording (referring to myself). Watching you guys do your thing makes me realize how much work I have ahead of me.
Damn! Loved those melodies Tyler. And them Baritone parts! 💯
Tyler has a sound to his playing that is so uniquely his, especially his soloing. Inspiring!
Incredible content… great work
Eric is a great dude, one of the kindest people in the industry that I've had the pleasure of being around.
You are too kind ❤
This is a great lesson on how important it is to know your craft well. And also just how much a great producer can elevate your creative potential. Also that was a pretty tasty jam!! Keep up the awesomeness!!👏🤘
Rad to watch the process of creation :) let’s hear the whole thing end to end!
Right on dude! Cool vid
Eric seems like a super nice dude to hang out and work with in the studio. Also, I always loved the drum sounds he is getting. Good stuff!
🤘🏼🤘🏼
This is my favorite video of yours in a while. Is your album on vinyl?
Absolute best, thank you for this video.
Holy crap, must be my long lost brother, Eric that also just likes to create! lol I definitely get it! From an outside perspective I look nerdy AF and everything is fairly random that I do; but I write/record music, graphic design, build and fly FPV Drones, design in CAD, getting some small businesses together as well.
Absolutely killer guitar tone. Sounded so cool. Keep creating! I think I want to learn how to weld next. 😂
On the spot improvisation and riff creation is so difficult - freeform noodling is good, focused creation is better. Props for laying it out there. :)
Great with morning coffee. Rock on gentlemen.🤙🏽
i agree
Loving the Rabea vibes with this one.
Top homage to Zakk Wylde. Love Black Label Society and their many albums. Best wishes from England.
Hell yeah! Eric recorded 2 of my bands when he was in the Bay! He's a pro! "This Time's Brutal" and "The Word Kill" still the sickest guitar tone I have on record. Whaddup E!
Hey man!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Excellent!
The solo around 11.30 was just 👌 beautiful melody with a bit of bite 🤤
Metal John Mayer solo 🤘
Amazing! I'd love to get some insight on the Axe Fx patches you guys used! Do you recall which Cab Ir's and Amps you guys used?
York Audio and OwnHammer IRs!
This sound sick!!
nice jam !
This rules. Metal John Mayer is kinda awesome.
I like that guitar!
Sounds a lot like while my guitar gently weeps
Dude you're solo did sound a little Zakk-esque. Good job I'm sure you were there longer than the video.😊 But damn dude The tone was there! I like his equipment I like his style and personality. And he likes to create😮 living in Nashville is really going to pay off for you. I bought your album and it's pretty good but what you're doing with this guy is badass bro Love it absolutely love it Keep up the good work and KEEP SHREDDIN❤
The bass sounded massive
That's the coolest sounds
I use one of his cables too, its great!
🙏🏼
It's incredible how easy it is to get top notch recording and mastering nowadays. When my band recorded our EP in 05, it felt like it took weeks and sounded like shit. The digital world has really overtaken.
Experience helps too :)
Analog master chain! ❤
@@erockomania I think the biggest thing is the simplicity and sake of ease with virtual amp sims and digital drums. They're damn near perfect out of the box. Look at Nolly's GGD lineup. I'd love to be able to get back in a studio now and re-record what we did back then.
@@MikeOrkidagree! And yes, very familiar with GGD stuff!
This was badass
MASTERPEICE
The chair
bad ass!!!!
got me stoked to play my guitar
Hey Tyler, are you still doing your guitar villain series?
dam
10:25 Noice!! 😃😃
badass
2:22 so, sounds great but not really an electric guitar tone anymore 😂
Hey brother, got a question. Your favorite guitar (the green prs), does it have #7's in it?
What bass guitar did you use? It sounds amazing
Skervesen Bronto 5 custom!
Here’s comes the warm peanut butter AGAIN!!!
Thanks for shouting me out at 0:24 homie
Guitar Chair Brand/model please
Hey Tyler is there a link for this track? I'd love to jam it in the gym
,,,,..........THAT HIT ME LIKE 1 0 , 0 0 0 VOLTS,..........cool Tyler.😮
Cmon Tyler with all that knowledge and skills you went for the Blues in METAL haha jk. Sounded good.
🤘
More Metal, Less Twang !
73 degrees, 50% humidity, and you're both wearing hoodies? I'd be schwetin' ballz.
😂
I really want to write words to that song
do it mann!
Do what must be done🍻
Can you download this
i felt that string break in my soul
what bass is that at 2:46 ? it looks dope!
Skervesen Bronto 5 👍🏻
Yo ladies...That's quite cool.
You and Guitarmax should collab
Dragon Picks 🤘
YES......... yes............yes yes yes..........yes yes yes yes yesYES......... yes............yes yes yes..........yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes............... yes yes yes yes...........
Yes......
🤘🏼🤘🏼
I want to be just like this guy (Eric)... More than a rockstar. Be involved in everything but have roots in mixing and engineering. Oh, and by the way. I've watched your videos for years but i have not seen the expressions and liveliness you show in this video........... maybe you should focus on more high gain stuff and let the blues go back to being blue.... youve played the blues all the way fire red. Give HEAVINESS what it deserves with some of that Berkley Edumacation 😆
You are too kind ❤️
@@erockomania I Didn't know who you were before this video. I say within the first couple of minutes, after your into is when i became influenced, only differences is i want to have an iron in the luthier fire as well. Thank you, Sir.
@@GenreKingJoe 🤘🏼🤘🏼
When i saw thumbnail, i thought that its Fred Durst right here lol
I get that too much lol
inspiring (tipical...)
WRITE THE LICKS IN YOUR HEAD. Then go find them on the guitar.
Ya, bro. I also think you and Eric should create some more things. He definitely has an ear for what works. It seems, like, obvious that the obvious thing will work.....but time and time again, people make strange choices. Even if its in the name your art, maybe ask a "normie" if it sounds good. I bet it doesn't. Music has no rules. However, good music usually follows the same rules. Anyway, nice song.
Ahh yes, the Friedman Noisey Fucker 23, a classic amongst purists.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
ExZacktly lmao.🤘
Toontrack for drums?
Yessir!
@@erockomania they sound really good! Great video also!
@@robertpaten 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Dude looks exactly like Chappers.
Does that guitar have a Wenge neck?
Wenge with a charcoal stained flame maple strip in the middle!
Are you related to Alex Stein 99 on the grind?
Can you please shout out gpm shreds guitar
It's hardly METAL when you record it sitting down 😉.
😂
Sounds like "eye of the tiger" metalized...
The first run-through that is...😅
Interesting use of the word "masterpiece". 😳
Interesting use of the word "metal" too...
@@StephxUn absolutely.
First pls pinned ❤
