In most of the Bass reviews Ive ever watched I notice that the volume is always turned waaaay down, as if not to wake the neighbours. And just for once I would love to see a Metal dude reviewing a bass for the Metal crowd. I would absolutely appreciate seeing someone crank the amp way up and beat the shit out of the bass like they mean it. I was curious about this Bass for Metal and this is the quietest review Ive seen yet.
I own one and I really LOVE it. I prefer both volumes up and tone all the way down, try that if you own one as well..
Anyone who can't hear the bass, use headphones, I can hear it just fine, but maybe it's just my speakers, anyway GREAT BASS, hope to own one someday

Although the loud bass level on the background, the sound of the last test of the pickups shows a strong boddy sound. It sounded pretty go actually. I'm definitely buying this. (sorry for bad grammar, I'm not an angloparlant :p)

I would love to hear Phil Chen or Family Man Barrett on a Thunderbird. I hate Round wound
strings and a low setup which this Bass had when I bought it used at Guitar Center, in spite of my two pet peeves I enjoyed playing it - ended up being a great purchase for 250.00.
I wonder how that would sound coming out of my Ampeg B-100R comp amp,you can't even hear it here to its full potential..

Got one a fre mo.ths ago tried to play ot with fingers as I was used to it on my other bass kept annoying me hitting my fingers on the pickup just learned how to play with a pick

That's a great price. I play that bass and i love it! Plays like butter. Somehow on recordings it kinda sounds similar to a Precision bass, but with a touch more low end. Works for me !
Maybe next time plug the bass in!

As a long time player of these, these are...not good. I stuck with them for the aesthetic but I had to cave.
The pre-amp is trash, it's waaaay too muddy and no matter what you play through it sounds like the same piece of cheap wood. Never mind that awful three point bridge. Save your money and get a Harley Benton.
