To Know (Daath) is very different than to Understand (Binah) which is very different than to Understand and be Wise (Chokmah). You need not some title or riches to obtain Divine Understanding and Wisdom... but be wary to claim Understanding of The Mysteries or declare yourself an Adept. Few true Adepts do... and those who do often are the least of the Adepts. Keep to the Four Powers of The Sphinx and may you flourish on your Path.
You may be thinking of this: “When Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart after other gods; and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father." (1 Kings 11:4) Or you may be thinking of apocryphal writings like The Testament of Solomon. In it Solomon admits to his mistakes and expresses regret for being influenced by demonic forces and seduced by foreign women, which led him to worship other deities. Although the text is not canonical, it reflects a tradition of repentance and sorrow over his spiritual downfall. Unrelated to Solomon but you may also be thinking of The Other God, The Lesser Yahweh, Metatron. Else you may be thinking of Baal who was culturally incorporated into Yahweh and literalist monotheists are uncomfortable with that fact (rather than understanding all Gods are mere symbols of The Divinity, The Monad, The One (as described by Plotinus for example). Metatron - The Lesser Yahweh: His legends are predominantly found in mystical Kabbalistic texts but go back to Merkabah-Hecalot Mysticism. He is variously identified as the Prince (or Angel) of the Presence, as Michael the archangel, or as Enoch after his bodily ascent into heaven. He is commonly described as a celestial scribe recording the sins and merits of men, as a guardian of heavenly secrets, as God’s mediator with men, as the “lesser Yahweh,” as the archetype of man, and as one “whose name is like that of his master.” The latter appellation is based on Hebrew numerology: i.e., when the consonants that constitute the names Metatron and Shaddai (Almighty) are analyzed according to preassigned numerical values, each name totals 314. Elisha ben Abuyah (flourished c. 100 ce) is said to have apostasized after having had a vision of Metatron. Elisha ben Abuyah in Paradise seeing Metatron sitting down (an action that is not done in the presence of God) therefore looks to Metatron as a deity and said: "Perhaps there are, God forbid, two powers in Heaven!". Baal: The God of the Bible came together slowly over time. From Polytheism to Henotheism to Monotheism. El, Baal, Yahweh and Asherah were all merged into one Being. Baal however is heavily demonized, largely because he was so similar to the original Yahweh (both being storm gods for example). See Dr. Sledge‘s work on the history of Yahweh for more. He also has good stuff on Metatron and how Paul may have been initiated into the same Merkabah-Hecalot as Rabbi Akiva (check out The Legend of The Pardes)
I'm a high school dropout and work in a grocery store. But, I understand the symbolism of the grand master. People are waking up as Manly said.
