LOL, genius! You're also mowing the edges, which makes sense since it adds to the yield. Unfortunately, it’s not that much because I’ve included not only grazing grass in the decoration but also some low-quality decorative grass that doesn’t count towards the harvest. By the way, remember that in summer and autumn, you can feed grass directly. Use hay as storage for winter. The cows eat quite a lot! You’re really making great progress. I’m looking forward to the next update and seeing how the map evolves and how you adapt it for your needs.
I think I need to add more cows because the grass doesn't seem to be going down. Even over the winter months the amount of grass stays the same. Thanks for watching!
@@TimeLapseFarmer Yes, planning for the animals! 😉 Just a heads-up, during the winter months, the grass on the pasture doesn’t grow back. I use the Animal Food Overview mod, which shows the daily amount of food the animals need in the barn. Otherwise, you’ll just need to keep an eye on how much the animals eat and replenish accordingly. To be safe, I always fill the trough with 50% hay-so if the grass isn’t enough, there’s hay available. Also, really watch out, as the animals grow and need more food over time. When I go to sleep, I always save my game as a backup. Then, after sleeping, I check the next day right away to make sure there was enough food.
