That accidentally happened to me while I was doing the challenge where you only fight the corruptor. I kept jumping back and forth from platform to platform, and he decided to jump at me right when I jumped and he landed right between the two platforms and died
I did this by accident at one point, it fell between 2 of the platforms. He did just pop up out of nowhere again after 1/4 of the Bore's health was left though.
Can also be done on other side closer to coruptor i had no idea how i managed it but i think he hit pillar and somehow fell down could have still seen him standing on the air
