My favorite visual novel is Va-11 Hall-A. It's very similar to coffee talk where you serve drinks and listen/chat with customers. It has a cyberpunk style to it, and the music is great.

When I clicked the video, I fully expected to want the Collector's Edition all over again, knowing I wouldn't be able to spend that kind of money, so I was surprised that there was a giveaway as well going on! If possible, I would definitely like to enter.
The only visual novel I have ever played would be the first Coffee Talk. I only had to watch a few minutes of a streamer playing it to know I wanted to try it for myself, and I have never regretted it for a second. Coffee Talk took me ages to complete just for the fact I didn't want the game to end. I love how the writers incorporated such real-world scenarios in the conversations with the characters in a fantasy styled game, and still managed to keep it relaxing and thoughtful at the same time. I was so glad they managed to complete the sequel and will be forever grateful for what Mohammad Fahmi allowed us to experience.
I gave Coffee Talk a try because of this video and it is wonderful and relaxing and it's actually been helping me through a pretty rough week. So, thank you for getting me interested in this game!

My favourite visual novel is the game “999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors” on the Nintendo DS. Coffee Talk is quite an interesting cozy looking Visual Novel type game and I’ve been absolutely loving cozy games recently so this might be a great addition!

I haven't played a lot of visual novels but the one that stands out to me is Astrologaster. You play as a not-quite-a-doctor in Shakespearean London that uses astrology and clues from your patients to diagnose and treat them. I love the absurdist Monty Python-esque humor and the chorus that moves the narrative along through song. I have the first Coffee Talk but haven't played through it yet. But it definitely sounds like something I would enjoy, as does the sequel.

Very interested and my favourite visual novel has hands down got to be Umineko! Coffee talk seems super chill and a good game to just shut your brain off to and enjoy the mundane parts of life! Would love to play it in between my university studies to keep me sane and help me relax haha
I love these games, super cosy. The UK edition seems to ship them both in the same box/cart, at least they're marketing it as a doublepack with dual cover art (it's pre-order in the UK until the 27th). Not sure if I prefer both together or separate, I imagine it's cheaper together though.
I'm interested in the giveaway! I don't often play pure visual novels, but I've been playing through CollarxMalice lately and been enjoying it! One of my favourite pastimes is to sit in a little coffee shop and just experience the atmosphere and whilst playing the demo of the first Coffee Talk game, I really felt that feeling, too

I played the first game and I absolutely loved it. It was so fun playing the role of a barista and learning the backgrounds and story of the characters. I'm looking forward to see the story continue with the second game and meet the new characters :)
I really want to join the giveaway! I am interested in Coffee Talk because I've seen a lot of people recommending it as a ''cozy game''. I think it is very cool to be able to be more of an observer in that game and get to know the characters. Plus making coffee orders sounds really cute to me!! :)

I have not played either Coffee Talk 1 or 2 but have always been very interested in it. I live in Washington state, so the fact that this is based in Seattle is so neat to me. One of my favorite visual novels would be the AI Somnium Files and The Pheonix Wright games! I haven't played too many VNs but i have purchased quite a few for switch that are in my backlog :)

My favorite visual novel to date is definitely To the Moon. Makes me bawl every time and THEE plot twist is executed so beautifully. Also looking forward to replaying Digimon Survive soon, loved that one to bits!

My personal favorite visual novel is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations. The story is intriguing, and it has some of my favorite cases in the whole series. Godot loves his coffee as well.

I would like to participate as well! My favorite visual novel is Umineko Na Koro Ni! Even though Umineko is quite a dark story, most games I play are pretty relaxing. I've only been playing indies for about a year now and would love to get into Coffee Talk! It looks so chill and cool!
I wouldn't mind having the game! My favorite VN is Clannad because it has all the feels. Or, maybe the Steins Gate games because it's a time-travel story done really well and it's thrilling.

13 Sentinels Aegis Rim is my favorite visual novel. Love the story, art style and direction (it is, after all, Vanillaware game), and the RTS gameplay segments)

The characters are very well written, and the soundtrack perfectly creates an eerie and mysterious atmosphere to the game. Va-11 Hall-A is a close second.

I’m new to VNs, but am slowly amassing a collection for the backlog! As a big horror fan Doki Doki Club will be the first I play, and then Aokana Four Rhythms will be next. Love the Lo-Fi aesthetic in Coffee Talk! Matcha green tea is my favorite drink to make, so whomever orders it in the game will instantly be my favorite lol.

It was one of my first experience with the genre as I was really young, but the incredible storytelling and timey wimey plot made a lasting impression in me. I rarely see it mentioned tho ahah

Thanks! I nearly imported them separately from PlayAsia as I really wanted them for my Switch, but luckily heard the news that they've partnered with Numskull Games for a physical release here in Europe so instead I've been patiently waiting for the regional release in my country.
Btw, I also wanted to thank you for all the videos you've been putting out on your channel. They've been super useful for me as I started collecting for Switch - with an emphasis on JRPGs and VNs - just earlier this year.

Thanks for the giveaway! Weirdly, I feel like I haven't finished many visual novels even though I've played a lot of games with VN elements... and own a ton of VN on my backlog LOL. I even have the spiritual older sister to this game, Va-11 Hall-A; the Japanese physical has gorgeous cover art and I got it when I was over there earlier in the year, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Heck, I played a bit of the demo for Coffee Talk a while ago too, it was pretty enjoyable!
If we're stretching the definition then P3 is my all time favourite game and I did like the VN/social link elements more than the dungeon crawling. If we're just going pure visual novels, Planetarian: The Reverie of a Little Planet is a kinetic novel that I remember liking, but it's been so long that I don't remember it super well. Milk Inside a Bag of Milk Inside a Bag of Milk is another one that I played more recently. Absolutely bizarre, but I enjoyed it, even though it's more a 20 minute ??? than a proper game.
Also, I find it interesting that both Coffee Talk and Va-11 Hall-A, the two prominent "make drinks while watching people talk" games, were both developed in "non-major" game dev countries (Indonesia and Venezuela respectively). Just another random parallel that ties them together more than the gameplay already does.
I would like to enter. 😈 Favorite Visual Novel is definitely Dies Irae. I think it has the best soundtrack of any game period. It just pumps me up so much. Love the references to Norse mythology and magic, and the plot is super cool. 😁

Super wholesome of you to be offering the games as a giveaway and spreading the love of VN’s ❤ I gotta say I’m probably pretty basic in that I love the Danganronpa series BUT that’s despite NEVER having played them (it’s just my wife has watched tons of let’s plays/retrospectives on all three of the games and she constantly has the GameGrumps play through on repeat as she works from home 😂) so I’d love to dabble in some more VN’s and having lived in Seattle prior to us moving to LA and being a Barista @ Starbucks (oof 😅) this seems right my ally! 🎉

My favorite visual novel is VA-11 Hall-A because it really feels like a futuristic bar where you just want to relax and talk with interesting people and hear their perspectives on different topics. The music and art style is amazing and you can get multiple endings depending on the drinks you make for people.

Death Mark is one of my favourites. I love the creepy atmosphere it has and it's perfect as a horror game on the Switch. It is very brutal so for people who can't handle a lot of blood and guts, don't play it haha.

I’d love to participate in this giveaway! I haven’t played a whole lot of visual novels yet, but one that I love is Ace Attorney. I’m pretty into the murder mystery genre in general, and when you add unique characters and genuinely funny writing on top of that, it makes for a truly special experience.

My favorite is Highway Blossoms by Studio Elan! They make Yuri focused vn’s. HB was their first and I know the writer and the musician for it! I bonded with them as a fan. Mostly with the musician Smoke Thief. The music is amazing and I own the vinyl that was limited time. Played the game SO many times. The vn has voice acting but when it first dropped it didn’t. It’s a very good one because of the writing and the characters. Highly recommend ☺️
I can't join the giveaway since no Switch but the thing which caught my attention of coffee talk is the type of customers who visit the coffee shop. The one thing I am curious about is do you ever leave the coffee shop. If I had the right system, I would enjoy visual novels with hopes of finding a good story with great characters.

I haven't played my copy of Ghost Trick yet but there is a bit of a point & click element to Coffee Talk! Though instead of interacting with objects like in Ghost Trick you're mostly just chilling with the characters and making specialty drinks for them :)
My favorite VN has to be phoenix wright series. Everything just drsws me in! As for my interest in CT VN well I love a little coffee with my ftench vanilla creamer😊

I'd like to enter into the Coffee Talk visual novel giveaway! My favorite visual novel series has always been Danganronpa and I especially love V3: Killing Harmony! I think the art style has always stood out to me among the sea of anime character designs. The murder mystery and diverse character personalities always kept me engaged until the end. A lot of people dismiss visual novels as they find the format uninteresting, but I felt Danganronpa was a great starting point for me getting into them and a good way to show people how much more depth visual novels can have from a standard novel.
I would love to enter the giveaway, so far my favorite visual novel style game would either be Virtue's Last Reward or Ai The Somnium Files. The stories and characters are truly fantastic in each but I just can't get over how good they were in Somnium Files. The Ace Attorney is another one of those visual novel style games that I do love, in fact I believe it was my first experience in the genre.
I really enjoyed the first game. I got the PS4 physical from Strictly Limited back in the day (took over a year to get it though, but worth the wait). Waiting on my copy of the second one which I got on PS5. I really debated getting the Double Shot Edition, but $210 CDN was a bit more than I could do at that time. Would have likely put the mug to use right away with some Tim Horton's because why not? I ended up ordering just the standard edition which is in the mail right now.

I’ve always been interested in trying and I’ve heard many good things about coffee talk. Many people have recommended it so why would I not want to try it. My favorite VN is the first one I ever played, Steins Gate on my PS VITA back then ! I didn't know the genre before and as a more RPG girl that does not watch a lot of anime, this genre seemed a bit weird to me (yes I admit !) But the time travel plot was interesting, the characters are likable with bits of romance and comedy. Everything needed to keep you following the story :)

As far as my favorite visual novel, it has to be Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (if that counts). What has my interest in Coffee Talk is that I’ve always seen games similar to this and have always wanted to experience it. Looks super fun and interesting.
The reason why I love Virtues Last Reward is because the twists in the story and how well laid out the concept of multiple timelines was well executed here. Till this day I still praise it as a high recommendation for anyone who doesn’t mind a lot of reading.
I'd love to win the collector's edition of Coffee Talk! I've always struggled with getting into visual novels because a lot of them are "press X to advance." From the gameplay videos I've watched about Coffee Talk, it looks a lot more involved than standard VNs while still focusing on the character relationships. My current favorite VN is "A Summer's End." The citypop and vaporwave soundtrack, the historical narrative, and its contemporary art style hit all the right buttons (pun intended)!
Favorite VN is Danganronpa 2! Stellar soundtrack, memorable characters, and a completely mind blowing story add up to the perfect VN for me 😊

I don't have much experience with visual novels. The only ones I've played are a game called Long Live the Queen and the Layton games (if you stretch the definition very broadly, love them so much though). I have more on my backlog, just haven't gotten to them yet. What interests me about Coffee talk is the cozy vibe! My favorite visual novel is technically a visual novel/tactical RPG hybrid with "13 Sentinels".
However Coffee Talk Episode 1 was my favorite pure visual novel. Not only was it satisfying to experience due to its calm vibes, but it actually got me through a deep depression last year and it has a lot of sentimental value. I hope the creator, Mohammad Fahmi, knew his game had a positive impact on people before he passed. He made a true gem and the sequel was made by his team to honor his memory and give him the send off he deserved.

My favorite visual novel of all time is probably Norn 9 on the psvita. I really need to get a hold of the switch release honestly.. But I just love the sci-fi romance elements, and out of the entire cast I think I only truly dislike one of the romance options? which I find extremely rare for me with otome visual novels. ^^
