9:01 lmao "And at this point, I completely forgot all about my search, I was just playing the damn game." You had to give Ink G some more screen time. Respect.
in Twilight Princess, you can totally find a red rupee up in the tree that the hive hangs from. There's a couple of them up there, and it's a really fast way of making 30 Rupees to get the Slingshot.
In majora's mask there is a much easier way to get the rupees IN Clocktown. You just have to go to the Laundry Pool area in the night of the second day (I think you can just skip to that time). There will be three red rupees floating in the canal.
in OoT, I believe there's a red rupee in the Zora River. So, with glitches, the fastest way is probably to get your sword, go into the Lost Woods, get to the fountain, and do a Navi dive to come out in the Zora River.
Me knowing about the glitch to get out to Termina Field as Deku Link and the locations of several red rupees once there made me wince at the Majora's Mask part, felt bad seeing the struggle, but at least you found one 😅
@shyntos It's not really that difficult of a glitch, you just need to back walk past the guard in east clocktown. Angle yourself slightly sideways and it will work.
btw, if you ever do another challenge like this again, try using four swords anniversary edition. it's a remastered version of four swords for the DSi that , among other additions, adds a singleplayer mode. so i think itd be good for videos like this !
yeah, easier said than done. i've been trying desperately to get my hands on it for over 10 years, you need a 3ds or dsi that just so happened to download the anniversary edition in the ONE MONTH it was available on the eshop for the 25th anniversary. its just cruel that it was only sold for a month, making it unplayable even through emulator. I believe it may be possible through homebrew through.
Fun Fact: In the GBA version of LttP, you you unlocked the side quest to get the Hurricane Spin through the Four Swords side game, one of the things you have to collect for it is a Red Rupee. But you can't pick it up! You have to grab it with the bug net. The first time I ever did it, I accidentally picked up so many Red Rupees from getting too close.
OOT you could Navi dive into the zora's river and rush the red rupees in the river I think... if no luck you can atleast go for the castle town again...
In oot you can spawn and then immediately leave the kokiri forest by back flipping over mido (there are a million glitch tutorials for this) and then the easiest place I know to get a red rupee every time is right where you got one lol
2:30 Okay, so, you didn't need to do the Deku Tree 1. Grab the sword, ignore the shield 2. Go to the Lost Woods 3. Go to the Zora River Warp 4. Align yourself in the border of the ledge and perform a Navi Dive (press B twice, once to fall of the ledge and the second one to do a jump attack. While Link is jumping, press C-Up and you'll get to the bottom) 5. Traverse Hyrule Field 6. Grab the red rupees at the bridge
I'm not actually sure if you can pull it off as Deku Link, but in Majora's Mask, the keaton bushes in North Clocktown DO drop a red rupee if you break all the grass before they disappear.
Finally someone else who knows about those bling rats in ALTTP, about 1 in every 6 or 7 has a red rupee, back in the day i'd spend about two good hours killing those rats in there before bringing Zelda out, then i'd have tons of funds to begin the journey with.
The trendy game in og Link’s Awakening is actually super easy. You maneuver the crane to the farthest right (should be at the top right of the belt). Then, once the item you want it about 2 pixels from the top left corner of the belt, move the crane down to the bottom right corner and you’ll get it It’s been awhile so I might be getting some details wrong
Forest escape to hyrule gate rupee Edit: scratch that. I forgot about the saria and owl cutscenes. I thought the time would be closer til i remembered those
Are you able to use the tree pulling mechanic in Link to the Past on the one tree in the courtyard for red rupees during the prologue? I watch plenty of LTTP and Super Metroid/LTTTP randomizers and see it used often early game but not as familiar with if it works in the vanilla game's opening rainy bit.
Edit: nvm, turns out you can't pull the trees during the rain part. It should be possible, after you get the sword from uncle, you need to kill both guards next to uncle and the 2 in the courtyard without taking damage, then pull the tree for 4x Red Rupees.
I was wondering if you were going to go to addison for the red in Tears. Also, giant contraptions to hold up his sign are always an amazing sight. Good job!
I was going to call shenanigans on this, since… you know… orange is kind of a _shade_ of red (the first game), but for once, I'm going to go with intention rather than wording. That said, this really should be "How Fast Can You Get a 20-Rupee Token in Every Game".
In alttp the guards a can't drop red rupees. alttp assigns each enemy a set of drops from a list of, I think, 8? Some focus on bombs, some on arrows, some on rupees, some mixed. The guards have the "Bad mixed" set so they only drop green rupees and hearts.
In Wind Waker, can’t you just capture a pig and put it in the pen on outset island? The lady who lives in that house gives you a red rupee for each pig you give her. First thing I do whenever I play that game
In majora's mask on day 2 you can get a red rupee in the laundry pool. Even as a deku though it is a bit finicky on fenagling yourself right over top of it so you pick it up as you fall into the water and drown.
@@Shyntos Understandable. I only know because of pure stubbornness and curiosity. Edit: It may also be a version exclusive thing as i did this on my original majora's mask on n64,
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I swear there's a treasure chest with 20 rupees in the very beginning of Majora's Mask, right before you enter Clock Town!
in majoras mask theres 3 red rupees that flow down the river of the washing hole that you can get further downriver each day progression. i think either day 2 or night 2 you can grab them
i dont think deku can get those due to being in the water. however, one of the SCT chests is a red rupee, so you can get that cycle 1 with the moons tear
Am I a nerd for thinking that the fastest way for wind Waker was to manual super swim over to windfall and farm the pots until it gives you a red rupee?
"Lamp oil, rope, bombs. You want it? It's yours my friend, as long as you have enough rubies." "Sorry Link, I can't give credit. Come back when you're a little, MMMM, richer."

Now you need to collect every blue rupee in every Zelda game.
He technically did that when he was doing green

I can't believe that the Tingle game actually exists. It feels like the worst kind of fever dream.

In botw, you could do ist to do a great plateau skip then blss to a red rupee. You could also save time at the start by using a scope clip
0'34 That looked more like a W than a star to me, but nice video regardless.
for windwaker you can just grab a pig and put in the pen with next to the lady and she will give you a 20 for your services
The video quality on this is insane, instant sub and bell!
On OOT there are quite a few glitches to leave kokiri early which would speed up the process immensely.
