I started with duck tape and didn't like it. It does not stretch, and I have more control with putting on the electrical tape. It forms to the dog's leg and doesn't need to be put on too tight. I switched from duct-tape years ago. But to each their own. Thanks for the input, George
Duck tape because electrical tape will get tighter as the day goes.

Is inner motorcycle tube smooth or has some texture. I am considering to use it for DIY shoes as a outer sole, but not sure if it is not slippery.
The inside is slippery, but the outside has some texture.
Looks like a great way to go. Sure beats the big clunky rubber boots. What are you using for under tape?
