It's the week of Hearses for my favorite youtubers! First Ressurected Garage now you. Yall are making me want to find another onr. I love my S&S Cadillac I had
Omg!! Your channel just went to the top of my watch list. I love hearses and wish I could afford one. I’m so looking forward to watching you work magic with this old dead sled!
The sound of you guys laughing and smiling is contagious, and I start laughing and smiling. Thanks for making these videos. I can't wait to see what you guys do with a hearse!
Hey guys, Awesome video, always fun to watch. The Hearse is cool and creepy at the same time. My new favorite saying at funerals will be, "Wow that fella was really dead". Lol
Hearses are an adventure to work on. The guy on old iron workshop has been working on his on and off. His not in as good a shape as yours but cool to see him rip out the interior and finding all the issues under the rat poop. Great videos to watch on broke Thursdays. Thanks. Glad my home state of sc has been doing y’all good.
The marks on the back bumper of the hearse is from gurney going in with deasesed body on them. Back then, hearses where used for pick up too. I work for a Funeral Director and my official title is Recovery Specialist, but my friends call me "A body Snatcher ". Eddie
Very nice choice Cory! That's my dream car too! My pops had one of those (in pristine condition) for his daily driver! I'll never forget him coming to my high school for a meeting with the principal. And parking across many parking spots 😅
Welcome to hearse life! I drove my first hearse daily for five years. Building three others now, all 60's caddies. That 61 is an awesome car in any condition. Looking forward to seeing how you build it.
I love you Two, like the hearse, when I was stationed at Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida in the USNavy, I skydived in the early 70s and one of the drop zones had an older black hearse that they used to pick us up and bring us back to the hanger, brings back a lot of memories 👍💕
Cory, outstanding work on chaining Hannah's Truck to Haley's truck to prevent any possible problems. (An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...or in the case of transmission problems, tons of headaches and cure.) You are to be commended on the foresight of potential problems. And seriously, even before the video started!?!?!?!? Cory's "dream car!?!?!?!?" In all honesty, after all Cory's comments each and every time he saw one!?!?!?!? Who did "not" know it was going to be a hearse!?!?!?!?!? (From the "Forwhatever It's Worth Department"...Since I was born in the late 40's, I can say there were, and are still, hearses produced in a Dark Green (or black body color) with a Dark Green Vinyl Top, but not in the 60's, so it may have been added when vinyl tops became "all the thing" in the late 70's. If you don't like dark green vinyl tops, or vinyl tops period? Just know it probably "did" have a dark green vinyl top at some point in one of its previous lives. Do what you will with that information.) Parting Shot...Cory is "Extremely Dangerous" with a knife!!! (I'm shocked...SHOCKED he has not self-inflected body damage with them the way he opened packages in this video!!! Exercise extreme caution when in Cory's vicinity when he has a knife!!!
That car is gonna be cool whenever you get it done. I was just watching a few guys at Sick Week 2024 in Florida and there was a guy racing a hearse, it was Wicked fast. Keep up the good work Homies we all enjoy your adventures. 🤘🤘
Lol, hahaha. Door handle is in case the dead guy changes his mind and wants out before he gets buried 😂😂😂❤ Good luck with this gorgeous car. Can't wait for the videos of it.❤
This was fun, understand anything this age is going to be hard to come by period. I love that last "look" at the finale of the video. Made this old guy bust out in laugher.
Good job and video Homies. Glad you found your hearse. I knew a guy in Fullerton,California that use to drive around with his hearse, he had a casket in his that lt would shake and then the coffin would open up and his skeleton would sit up and look around and then lay back down and close the lid
That's awesome yall so very happy for you Cory !!! I had a 58 Pontiac ambulance/hearse back in 91 was working on it !!! Lost everything including the car !!! Bad story !!! But I recovered !!! Have regretted not fighting harder for it but I'm so very happy that you finally got your dream car !!! Waiting patiently now to see what your imagination brings on this adventure !!! As always an awesome adventure thanks yall for bringing us along brother and little sister !!! Yall have an awesome day !!! Great to see that smile brother !!! Like catching that world record bass 😂😂!!! Very happy yall had safe travels !!!! See yall later 😂😂😂😂
Sad for Frank, but happy for the 61 Caddy Hearses. this caddy will be a cool ride to rebuild. Hannah's green truck is so cool.. the caddy will need a windshield and door windows..
I cant believe yall was in my home town tazewell/new tazewell and i didnt know .. i would have came out n met you !!! Btw id imagine you didn’t find the indoor fleamarket .. its packed with antiques !!!!
A friend of mine owned the biggest motorcycle junk/grave yard. He bought a Hurst and painted tombstones on it of dead motorcycle. Awesome car waiting for the build 😄
Look on the firewall for the GM trim tag . Where it is stamped STYLE it will tell you for sure what year it was . VIN tags don't always give that information . By the early 60s most hearses had vinyl tops , but some still used a black wrinkle paint , which cracks over time and must be sanded down to bare metal to fix it properly .
I just subbed on your last video and told you I was about 60 or 70 miles from you but I am also about 10 miles from Hil-Rom who as you probably already know they are in the Casket business. You definitely need some interior accessories if you know what I mean !!
Hey guys, I absolutely love your new addition to the family, Cory's 61 Cadillac hearse. One day in the future, Y'all need to turn it into a big ol' station wagon! Put big long side windows where the fancy chrome things are! Then make a 2nd row, and a 3rd row seat, and the 4th row seat, make it face backwards! How much fun would that be? WOW! Y'all know how cool it would be. You would be the envy of every family out there. Air ride, big 22" wheels, and every time you laid it out, some of that fog would come out from under it. You know, like the fog machines at Halloween time? Yeah, that would be awesome!😂😅 Anyway, I wish you guys the best of everything. May God bless you and keep y'all safe and healthy. Love ya!❤
🎶 track? It’s *Rabbid* by *Tigerblood Jewel* - and yes we are THRILLED to be your trusted provider. ruclips.net/video/gIodow1XOvY/видео.html // Epidemic Sound
I think it would be cool to leave the bottom patina but do the top in a really nice paint job, maybe something with a lot of flake and some hidden/ghosted designs in it.
That car is so nice that " folks are dying to get in it " !! Sorry, I couldn't resist!! Forgive me!!! Cory if that is something you have wanted, and Hannah is ok with it, more power to you !!! I hope you all enjoy building it. Please be safe and God bless you all !!! Eddy
Cory, back in the 90's I used to make crew cab pickups out of hearses ,there is a pickup inside just waiting for you to cut it out and the floor is flat and I split the rear doors in half for the tail gate and rear window.
hey great buy. ok first sage the heck out of that thing lol. here is a lil car knowledge I will pass on to you from my dad. all gm and fords had drastic body changes from the 40s till early 70s with the exception of a few years. I believe most of the manufactures did that to sell cars. but can u imagine the tooling changes they did every year. what you see on the top is the left over landau foam and glue left from the vinyl top. definatly keep it rat rodded on air caddy motor not LS and a old pine box in the back. cant wait to see the build
Love your channel. Most of all your love for big trucks. As you were showing off your new Caddy I noticed the old U-Haul. Are you attached to the front clip?
Congrats Cory I've always wanted a hearse as well but I wanted to put a killer stereo system, pun intended. May something like 6 18" subs along those lines.
I am an old retired carpenter and when I was building homes we would put a skeleton in a wall and close it up, I think we did that 6 to 8 times. lol we had a lot of fun doing that
Lol, I love the look on Hannah's face when you told her to "get in".
Cory “If you love me you’ll get in it”. The look on Hannah’s face, good luck with that 😂🤣😂
Brilliant
Yup 61 Cadillac eureka landau end loader. Nice find. I love eurekas!!
I might be wrong, but I believe GM outsourced the building of the rear portion of body to a coach company.
Yes Eureka company
@@corywheatcustoms I have connections for a 1957 caddy hearse put a 1st gen 5.9 cummins
Dead body juices all over in there 😂
Y’all are such a great couple! Glad to see yall supporting each other no matter how crazy the dream is!
Rough but all the little trim pieces....awesome...so good

My new favorite saying at funerals will be,

You have a talent for making the simplest things enjoyable. Kudos!

Congratulations on your dream car. Lots of possibilities there! It's all hearses in my feed since my last video with a hearse at auction.

My father in law was a body tech at Eureka coach works back in the day, what a beautiful hearse you bought…cut, cut , cut. Well made car
The marks on the back bumper of the hearse is from gurney going in with deasesed body on them. Back then, hearses where used for pick up too. I work for a Funeral Director and my official title is Recovery Specialist, but my friends call me "A body Snatcher ". Eddie

A friend of mine owned the biggest motorcycle junk/grave yard. He bought a Hurst and painted tombstones on it of dead motorcycle. Awesome car waiting for the build 😄

It'll be interesting to see what you do with this one!
Make it a dually too! Going to look awesome!
Love it, get a license plate that says AFTRLIFE that would absolutely rock. Love ya guys I’m looking forward to seeing it done. Just friggin awesome
I think it would be cool to leave the bottom patina but do the top in a really nice paint job, maybe something with a lot of flake and some hidden/ghosted designs in it.
A metal flake black and dark gray lace paint job on the roof would be sick
That car is so nice that " folks are dying to get in it " !! Sorry, I couldn't resist!! Forgive me!!! Cory if that is something you have wanted, and Hannah is ok with it, more power to you !!! I hope you all enjoy building it. Please be safe and God bless you all !!! Eddy
The Hurst is cool, but what was that little one beside it,good score, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Love that car! Great style on the interior. That would make a great 2 person camper for you folks. 💀💀
Hi Hannah, looking good ! : )
I love this before watching it. I love them all.
Heck yeah !!! Thanks!!!

user-ic8gc9um2x It's probably going to Puddin.
The reason for the curtains is for when the funeral homes would pickup the deceased from places where they died.
👍
✌ Definitely 1961 Cadillac. hearse usually had vinyl tops to cover up coach built top and rear less body work
I wish the videos were at least a hour long. Can’t get enough
Awesome like the new Project i live close to thorn hill tennessee
At that time this was used as local ambulance for the community every town in America .nice video like always great find keep it up.
Congrats Cory I've always wanted a hearse as well but I wanted to put a killer stereo system, pun intended. May something like 6 18" subs along those lines.
I am an old retired carpenter and when I was building homes we would put a skeleton in a wall and close it up, I think we did that 6 to 8 times. lol we had a lot of fun doing that
Imagine that ghostly voice from the rear ARE WE THERE YET?
Sweet !!!!!!!
Oh that look at the end. I remember THE LOOK well. Lol
Cedric was a great plan for the ride home. 😂
The old iron workshop has a 1950 Cadillac Hearse he just started, looking forward for your videos
My girlfriend daily drives a hearse, and the conversations and compliments she gets is awesome. Plus it's great to take to the grocery store 😂
Y'all just crack me up. Now when y'all hear something at night you will think it's coming from the Hearst.
It's not weird or odd to love hearses. They're beautiful elegant cars😊🇺🇸❤️
I hope you guys bring it to the Eville Shindig this year.
Just to let you back in the day they also used the Hurst as an ambulance also. That would be why there is a door latch on the inside of the back door.
Every house holds needs one these days lol I love it
Call him Cory-one. Couldn't resist.
Everyone is dying for a ride in Cory's car!😂😂😂😂
