Do Gary, I can confirm the mid 90’s scene. I was a musician. Got my start with Troop on tour in the early 90’s, and continued being a touring musician in the mid 90’s, then went to session musician during the prime of the Neko soul era being from Philly.
Let me tell you something about the mid 00’s music scene. You wouldn’t even understand wilding hard even if I explained some stories. Mind you, I wasn’t even a star like the people I was playing for. When I first started out, I’ll admit, I was hitting everything. I was 22 and single, seeing all the country and overseas. I mean, you didn’t have to work for the cheeks. But, by mid 90’s, the girls changed the game. They started running game. I slowed my role with the quicks. But, the mid 90’s was out of control, homie. I’m talking dudes and females. So when Death Row artists are saying they were hitting all these females like it was some great feat, trust me, it wasn’t. I know security guards who clapped just as much cheeks as PAC, and fine cheeks too.
