@@captainhuggyface6731 Good luck to you 👍The only other brother to 2719 is 2718 in Green Bay. That won’t be too hard to find in Wisconsin since there’s tons of original roadbeds converted to trails that could potentially be reactivated. However the most difficult part is getting the money to get rails that have the correct load rating for high speeds and most importantly, the PTC application.
Really awesome locomotive!! I absolutely love steam locomotives and I had a family member that worked for the Soo Line Railroad. I do have a feeling that this locomotive isn’t completely done yet with her excursion service with just a little bit of work I’m certain that we will see her steamed up again because from what I’ve heard her condition is really good!👍👍
Thank you, Tyler! The 2719 is a true classic. We hope to see her run again. The 1003 is still making appearances from time to time, which is great to see. We very much appreciate the nice comment.
I hope one day they bring back 1003 and 2719 and run photo ops with the freight cars. I know they've run together before, but it'd be cool to see 1003 pulling a short freight string with the caboose, and 2719 pulling some Soo Line passenger cars. It'd be like a midwestern version of the TVRM's photo ops with 4501 and 630
Very good, although, one small hiccup. Lakeside is not it's independent town, it is a part of Duluth, MN. It is a neighborhood in Duluth. As I said, not independent.
Thank you for the clarification. Overlook on our part. We knew it was only a station name, not a town. Thank you for letting us know and thanks for watching!
My grandparents had engines just like 2719 go right by their house hauling the Dinky and the Winnipeger between Winnipeg and Minneapolis.
How neat! Thank you for sharing!
I hope that #2719 doesn't get sold for scrap, like CB&Q 4-8-4 #5632, GTW 4-6-2 #5629 and just ONE B&O Class EM-1 2-8-8-4 type!
We agree, MJ! Hopefully everything turns out ok.
I wish she was still operational. Nice video!
when i grow up i want to build a railroad in wisconsin running one of #2719 surviving brothers
So do I! Thank you for writing!

@@AlexTrain5249 What about 2713, I dont think there brothers, but, they have to be closely related in some way, am I right
@@AlexTrain5249 And 2713 is actually in the town my railway begins
A very good production, Chris. Fantastic!
Thank you Keon!

Man, that whistle sounds rough
Perhaps it does sound a little rough. Thank you for pointing that out! We went back and watched the video to refresh our memory.

Unfortunately I don’t think so. Needs major work from what I have heard.
