- We set off on our annual pilgrimage to IXS dirt master festival in winterberg, and to spice things up a bit this year we decided to ride as many bike parks as we could in the 4 day trip! Later in the series we visit the mother itself winterberg, try out Willingen, host of a downhill World Cup back in the day but our first stop is one of the best bike parks in the world Greenhill Bikepark! Hope of the swatch nines in 2023, it’s filled with awesome wooden features, jumps, turns and steep flowing tracks for our enduro bikes. We take the trip down with Olly Wilkins from the Ride companion podcast and Syo, in the new 900+ bhp Lotus Eletre R! It’s all out our first electric EV car experience so how will it go? @@SamReynolds26 "Klinovec" got some really long trails, like 10km flow trail and 6-8km intermediate trails. also some decent enduro/downhill trails.
Definitely a better vlog than Deaks, Ollys gonna have to pull something out the bag to beat that

lovely. dont get me wrong id love that car. still i wanna be able to say: for what is in there, for how much i love lotus, i wouldve expected something more maybe "unique", aesthetic-whise, shape. It's not bad, rather great tbh, but not living up to my expectations/imagination of a new lotus, specially of this calibre. But i haven't driven it, so i really don't wana say more than that, that's just a "surface-critic" :) Also the video btw... great edits and shots, decent vibe

I was the same I didn’t even really want to drive it as a ‘petrol head’ and old school lotus fan but it’s completely turned my ideas around of what a car can be and what the future will be like… and I’m not mad at all! It’s a lot cooler in real life than shots for some reason too. I of course still prefer a lightweight sports car every time but it blew my mind how well it drove and now I’ve tried it I’m not sure I look at petrol cars in the same way any more!
@@SamReynolds26 oh shit, sorry. well i think you got very valid points, and since im not somebody thinking blackandwhite and still aint got too much real knowledge abiut cars, nor alot of experience, i think the same way. And maybe id get used to it. yet id have loved another design and colour. but thats me and theyre them and they surely got some specific reasons for thekr choice:)

They should turn them into sick bike parks like this! Sadly pretty far for me 😂
@@SamReynolds26 im lucky to live in the middle of all 5. Most of them have tracks and up lift. Nevis has the gondola glen coe has a chair lift cairn gorm has a conveyer lift the lecht has button lifts like you were using. Small flight up north. Takes a hour from london.

Probably front flip no hander but I think a big superman seat grab is better!

Glass is the best thing to suck it to as it’s smooth and super strong! But yeah lotus probably would have been sad with me if it fell off 😂 😮💨
