Surely, there are million Swedes and they have different mindsets, but I simply cannot understand where all this lack of empathy comes from. But I could at least get enough for clothing etc even if I lived at home. Parents paying for an 19 year old is expensive. So it's understandable some got hateful.

Being Asian living in Sweden for 16+ years, I have had a few racist encounters, but never anything extreme. But I will promise you right now, while there are so many kind people that does not care what race or nationality you are, the black community has it the worst. It's not something like they can't get a job, but the passive-aggressiveness, it's downright disgusting. Even worse, some kids are never taught about racism and similar. You can go outside and schools will have Nazi symbols because kids thinks it's "cool".
