- Can't believe I was over a month late to this surprising piece from Rainych but I've been busyyy okay? And I'll continue to be so I don't think I'll ever be able to return back to doing YT "full-time" but I do miss it and I miss you guys too and sometimes looking back at all that I've managed to accomplish with my little channel...it's just such a shame to have to abandon it all...how far I've come, the time and effort I've dedicated to growing it, the joy/entertainment that my videos were able to bring to my audience, and the community of fans that's gathered here. Sooo I think I'm still gonna try to make occasional posts on here, no particular genre/type of content though, just whatever I feel like/have time for.
But I'll probably be putting together a video explaining my disappearance from YT/what I've been occupied with, so, for anyone who's interested in finding out a bit more about my personal life, make sure to check it out whenever I upload it :)

As a Mandarin speaker, she can even pronounce some words better than me. Rainych is a language genius!!!
I wouldn’t say her Mandarin pronunciation is perfect (If 💯 is perfect, I'll give her 99), but she did a great job, which made me feel shocked and amazing!!
Fun fact: Before she released this cover, although I only listened to the original song 1 or 2 times, I could understand it without subtitles! ! ! ! ! !🤩
When I asked her how long it took you to practice your Mandarin pronunciation...🤔
And what I can’t believe is that she answered me she only started to practice pronunciation on the day she recorded this cover.✨

@@yellowberrio I never thought Rainych would sing Mandarin songs, I never even had the thought about "hope she can sing Mandarin songs one day" ,so I dare not expect her to sing other Mandarin songs😅...but if she's willing to try Mandarin songs again, that would be great😁
oh...Sadly I didn't work with Rainych on this song🥲..., She mentioned in the description that there was a person named Shizu who helped her with pronunciation in Mandarin.
I'm one of her Patreon member and I have joined her discord. Rainych occasionally logs into discord and interacts with her fans and friends, so when the cover was released the night I was out of curiosity, I asked her that question and she personally answered me.😊

At my Wedding Last year my Parents(who are New Zealand Māori) sung a Beautiful Chinese song.(My Wife is 2nd generation Chinese from the Philippines) it’s a song my Parents having been listening to & learnt how to sing (as Music is a part of my Culture) & it’s been good for them to know due to Business Trips/Trade Delegations/Functions they’ve attended in China, Hong Kong & Taiwan.
The song they learnt is a Classic:
Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De Xin.
My Wife’s family couldn’t attend our Wedding due to the pandemic so we Live Streamed it & we’ll have another Wedding for them.
She only had one cousin attend with her little family.

That's why I posted that 10 second clip instead. In that description I mentioned that the original video (the cover) that I was gonna publish I couldn't, not yet. But I didn't wanna go without posting at least something so I scavenge through my device for some random scrap material 😅
