@Jazzy Whicks. Pretty much it burned till last of 1/4 wax they expose in the air and you can see faint smoke. Meaning wax being pull-on-top and it will release fragrance and wax gone slowly by slowly.
Hi Jazzy This is a really great video. I’ve had a lamp candle warmer for a few years now and they are great. Like you said in the video the lamps solve all the issues that are associated with burning candles like throw issues, sooting, and uneven burning. My lamp has saved a lot of current Yankee candles especially on the throw side. What I have found with some candles (not a lot though) is that the fragrance notes can become inverted or mixed up especially on complex candles. I had Kringle candle in the fragrance leaves where the cinnamon that was supposedly bottom note became a top note and the apple that was supposedly the top note became the underlying note. The same with Yankee candle autumn dusk where the smoked clove was supposedly an undertone but became a full on top note overtaking the cinnamon, I also had it with a child’s wish under the lamp where the Amber, cashmere and Lilly notes become dominant rather than the undertones. This doesn’t happen with every fragrance but it’s good to be aware that it can happen and a fragrance can smell different under a lamp to when it’s actually burning. I know a lot of people don’t like the idea of a lamp as it’s essentially turning a candle into and expensive wax melt but the throw performance is worth lamping a candle for. Like you I can’t understand why more places don’t sell candle lamps as they are an excellent alternative to burning especially if you have restrictions on burning candles or a candle just doesn’t perform. Have a good week Joff 👍👍👊👊
Heya Joff! Glad you liked the video and that you to enjoy your lamp 🤩 I agree, they are amazing but for someone who likes to review candles using the lamp I do have to use it a few times so I’m sure of the notes! That’s why I always try and tell people that lamping compared to normal may provide different results but personally if I had to choose one of the other it would always be the lamp! Thank you as always for watching and your comments! Have a great week 🙏🙏
@@joanietetreault3089 mine has a dimmer on so you can put it up stronger to reach further 😊 if there is any left right at the bottom sometimes I crumble it!
Do you let the candle wax pool the same depth every time by “burning “ it under the candle lamp for the same number of hours every time you use the lamp? For me, the depth of the pool varies because sometimes I use the lamp for 2-4 hours, and sometimes up to 6 hours. I was wondering how much of the liquid wax to discard when there’s no more scent at the top of the pool. But maybe the middle and bottom part of the pool might still has the scent.
I've just ordered the same one! Just 1 question: when the wax level is quite low in a large jar, does it still work? You mentioned that you need a base for medium jars, so I was wondering if the last half of a large jar would still pool ok.
Heya! As long as your room isn’t to cold it should reach okay! Sometimes if there is a little bit at the bottom that isn’t reaching I cut it out and use it in a tart burner! ❤️❤️
Hi Jazzy. I have a few of these lamps and love them but whats going to happen when the government stop the bulbs being sold next month. Have candles sniffs and gifts come up with an alternative? As LED bulbs are useless for heating lamps and warmers .
Heya! No alternative yet 😭 we have until September so I would suggest just stocking up for now and seeing what happens after the ban or if they then make an alternative!
Is it possible that a candle lamp could help my dw homes candles that aren’t giving me a bit of throw. What’s odd is they smell amazing on cold but I get absolutely nothing while burning. I’d appreciate any suggestions that anyone has. Thanks in advance.
Hey! Yes pop them under your lamp! 😍 any candle brand can go under the lamp. If it’s a smaller candle you might need to put something under it so it’s not to far from the bulb!
@Jazzy Whicks. What you meant by I burning candles warmer everyday. I only now just need to top away next layer hmm?. I been burning everyday too!, No mess, No hoes, No Splatter every candle burn after finished. Give a period off-time cooldown and wax is done cooling and restart
I don’t understand what you mean? Lol Once the top layer of the wax that is pooling stops smelling and loses its scent, I pour it away so the next layer can pool and I can small that. Then I repeat until the jar is all finished. Some times when you pour a layer away, if you do it the same way I do, it can be a little messy but everyone does it slightly different. Some people use cotton pads to soak up the layer that’s pooled, others just tip it away.
@@JazzyWicks Oh I see some use cotton balls to soak it and throw to dustbin to give a nice some sot smell etc. So, do it all the way untill candle wax the smell it is gone then?
@@TheDragonshadow1231 yes that’s it! So melt the same layer again and again until smell stops. Then you can pour that layer out or soak it up. Then you melt the next layer and repeat x
@@TheDragonshadow1231 completely depends on the scent and the strength of the candle, 5/6 days is just an estimate but some scents go longer, some not as long - just move it stops smelling go to the next layer 😃

As a person who loves candles but does not want a flame this is a perfect solution. Plus it's beautiful!!
Hi jazzy great video I personally don’t use a lamp, but it was really interesting to hear all about it and see how you use it. 🥰

The lamp is definitely best way to get the most out of a candle especially Yankee !
Mine doesn’t have dimmer tho just on off switch. 👍
Just brought one thank you! Xx
Hi. How do you manage to melt the Yankee Candle large jars when they are half empty? I find it rather difficult when it reaches past half the candle.
I still just tip it out into bin, it’s a little messy but it’s okay for me! You can use cotton balls to soak it up to x
@@JazzyWicks I mean, past half empty, it melts less well, no?
