I dont usually comment on car reviews, but you present a great review dude. Loved the More counter and Tissue comment 😂. Looking forward to more reviews! You got my sub!
Definitely a reality check, i need to rethink what exactly a car needs to offer and what price range makes the most sense. Rather than follow the soon to be out of reach norm...
Excellent review Ryan. Well done! I’m from Durban and drove the J7 last week. Was blown away! Look forward to seeing you grow from strength to strength. 🙏👍
Bro you a very good reviewer. Have to compliment you. Never felt like I wanted to stop the review half way. I am currently driving a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro Elite CVT and trust me I am still criticised two years later for buying Chinese. My car got no issues. Drives like dream. The performance is very good. My next car is definitely Jaecoo. I was never into brand names. Just give me value for money and Chinese cars offers the absolute best value for money.
I appreciate that! I agree with you the Chinese brands are really offering excellent value for money, and Chery has most certainly made a name for itself over the last few years! Enjoy your Chery and will definitely be hoping that you get your Jaecoo in the future
China produces good at every level in the quality spectrum. You also have many comp manufacturers running their factories in China or other countries like it in order to get the cost of production down in the economies of scale up. Chery and all of these Chinese brands have huge economies of scale because they’re producing cars to their local market and now they’re tapping into the export market as well. When you can produce something just as good as any of the staple brands but you can do it cheaper because you’re producing more that’s so interesting recipe
This is so on point, and I agree with your point. It was only a matter of time that China would be doing this and branching out not only in electronics. Chery, the Chery group of cars, BYD, GAC, there are so many and it’s only the start of what is to come. First it was the German cars, then Japanese, Korean and now the Chinese are getting their chance
Good review my brother, please try not to take video under shades because it compromised the quality other than that I am impressed will tell others to subscribe and comment to your review. Big up bro we want to see more and more of your review
As a full video at the moment, I am not sure in the short run but could most certainly do a short comparison. Even though these 2 are SUV type vehicles, they aim to attract very different buyers. The Omoda has a decent amount of features, however it is smaller and about R100000 less than the Jaecoo. But stay tuned, I may be able to do this in the future. Definitely planning on a long term Omoda relook to see how it’s aged in the mileage and wear and tear category.
You're reviews are good ❤but you should find a camera man to help you while you're pointing or shifting something for us to see while you're doing that.
@@kiah7 i drove it for abit and info on the driver display indicate 8.8L, however im hearing users from china/russian claim they are getting as high as 11.5L/100km, which is concerning
It's hilarious that you use the Hyundai-Kia analogy knowing full well that the Chinese are trying to replicate that strategy. These things are going to be cheap for a few years, then once all the competition retreats to a higher price bracket or just leaves the market they're going to jack up their prices. Enjoy the tbh not even cheap prices for now. But it is a long term play - unlike with Hyundai-Kia quality will never increase and parts will remain scarce.
Only time will tell, regarding the Kia / Hyundai analogy, businesses will most certainly try and emulate it because it is a working recipe, the challenge with Kia / Hyundai at the moment is that they established themselves to a point where they are premium, so can ask the premium price for their cars. Cars however have gotten so expensive so I appreciate the fact that we are getting some competition to challenge what the offerings currently are. Look at Suzuki, they have looked at their offering and made adjustments and now one of the top selling brands in our country.
In all honesty, I urge you to get into one and have a first hand experience, far from cheap! But I would agree local manufacturers will need to relook at what they are offering

A heart and a thumbs up! Appreciate the comment and sub

Fully agreed, the challenge for us individuals is that the options out there seem endless.
Excellent review Ryan. Well done! I’m from Durban and drove the J7 last week. Was blown away! Look forward to seeing you grow from strength to strength. 🙏👍
Thanks for this, appreciate the comment, compliment and well wishes. Also glad to hear that you had a wonderful experience with the Jaecoo!

I mean driving review 😭
Can you do a comparison between this car and the Omoda C5?

Great review🎉🎉🎉🎉
Glad you liked it
what's the L/100km like?
7L/100km
I love this car
Claimed range, reviews are getting around 8.1 - 9 L
@@kiah7 i drove it for abit and info on the driver display indicate 8.8L, however im hearing users from china/russian claim they are getting as high as 11.5L/100km, which is concerning
Definitely concerning, fuel consumption is driver and usage dependant. In my experience between 7.5l to 8l/100kms.
Tops

Welcome cheap Chinese .. goodby local manufacturers

@@AddictionsCPT yes that to . Unions better catch a wake up labour in China very cheap.
