Great batch! What type of polish are you using? I lived in Albemarle for over 20 years before moving to Texas. I wish I was rockhounding while I lived in VA…there is some nice material there.
These are Midwest rocks, right? I pick up what I consider odd rocks and ugly rocks, especially if they have cool coloring. After 4 years of collecting, i started cutting... Most of the slabs present the coolest space like mix of magmatic mineral swirls and flows. It's hard to know what I have a lot of times.
I love the red jasper with epidote! Polishes nicely!

These are from Virginia, but I’m sure there are places in the Midwest with similar rocks! Definitely fascinating to see the insides!
They all look great, but this is coming from a guy who goes rockhounding and wants to take all the rocks home!
