Nice, are you near Prescott by chance? When I lived there a few years ago I found a spot with some beautiful combinations of Epidote and Quartz in the Prescott National Forrest.
Awesome, I just love any green mineral!! I'm hoping to find a better location sometime this summer but this spot proves to me that they can be found around here🙂
There is pretty much of rocks that contains epidote inside, but always difficult for me to find Epidote crystals. The one you found is really big. Impressive, nice findings.
Thanks!! Its my dream to find some nice big epidote included quartz crystals or something like that haha. Just have to keep on searching and I will find some eventually, I'm sure of it😃
Thank you!! We've been having some pretty nice weather lately so I've been getting out as much as possible!! I'm Always out rain or shine but I can only film when we get a break in the weather. We tend to get over 10 ft of rain a year so I try to pull the camera out whenever I can😃
@@brucevanderzanden9638 Yea haha, Most people here hate it but I feel like we are blessed not to have to worry about drought. A nice light Rain is probably my favorite weather, it wets down the rocks and keeps you cool🙂
Awesome man that turned oot real fine; @7:20 Thats my favorite part of hounding in the forest Im curious to know more aboot the Aplite/granite/gneiss @8:35 - 9:40 if you get that one digested. @10:50 great specimens buddy Thanks for the Upload and chat w/ ya soon!
Bro that was a fantastic video and hunt, you found some beautiful Epidote and Quartz specimens. I also really liked the black mica your were finding, by chance you going to wrap it lol? I think that would look cool against the copper wire.
For sure!! You'd probably be best off with a normal continuous rim tile saw blade. Lapidary saw blades are not made for the speeds that tile saws spin at and can be quite dangerous if used improperly😉
Awesome epidote crystals! Thanks for sharing!✌🤠
Great rocks! Beautiful scenery. Thanks!
Ragnar loves all the green! It's his favorite color
Green is my favorite color too!!
Yup! Great video!!!!
Good finds!
Thanks!!
You found some great looking pieces in between there!
I just found some great epidote crystals down in Arizona yesterday and then I see you did the same.Rock on!

We get 6-8” a year where I live in Redmond, Oregon. Big difference.

Thanks!! I will try and get those rocks figured out, I'll have to make a video on that kind of stuff in the future haha.
Awesome. I especially love the last piece. I have found epidote in the Horne Lake area here on Vancouver Island.
Vancouver island can have some great epidote and I believe there's even some claims in the eve river area for quartz and epidote crystals!!
@@NWRockExplorer I didn't know that. I am hoping to get exploring up in the north island this summer😊
@@williambennett7699 Awesome!! I haven't explored the island much yet but I've seen some amazing finds from that area!! Good luck in your adventures!!
You found some really cool stuff
Thanks!! It's always fun to explore new spots, you just never know what you're gonna find!!
Awesome video

I have a little tile saw, and I want to use it to slab small rock. Could I ask you what kind of blade do youneed to use?
