Whacker plate odd noise

Hi Folks
A customer dropped this off with a strange noise and it didn’t run properly.
The air filter was clogged badly so that was the main running problem, but it had a tinkling sound.
When it ticked over there was a tinkling sound with the centrifugal clutch on it, but when it was removed the noise wasn’t heard.
I thought it was the crank bottom end but then it’s a Honda, so it would require major abuse before it failed (in my experience).
It turned out that the centrifugal clutch was loose on the engine shaft, and the woodruff key was worn because of the play allowing the clutch to move and hit it.
Also I use an old cushion to dampen the vibration when I run up a whacker plate.
