My video wall is consisted of 4 monitors Divided 16 channel in each I want to have 25 channel in each for now... When i try to split the monitor to 25 instead of 16, i got error message ( no more windows opened)
yes it could be if you have the device with a external fixed IP address, or you could use HIK-Central and the ISUP adding method ( no fixed IP ) and use the decoder and smart wall solution to which is great
Hey Dave got a DS-6908UDI but can’t make the screens have more than a 1 camera split like what you have 16. Any ideas and how can I do the above for a remote site?
Hi, i have an insane amount of locations and cameras, more than i can display with with a 6916, is it possible to cycle through camera streams on the decoder? so the display will show camera 1 for 5 seconds, then change stream to camera 2 for 5 seconds and so on for example.
Is the device on the same local network and working correctly ? have you tried lowering the resolution of the cameras and FPS and bitrate of the end device to see if this improves it ?, could you also make sure the device ( both NVR and decoder ) are on latest firmware
@@DVSLTD hi thanks for the reply yes it's all on the same network and have lowered the fps on all the cameras only thing I haven't checked is the lastest firmware, as the system is just over 12 months old
I watched this video because I was trying to do the same thing. What worked for me is going into the Keyboard app and adding both the decoder and the NVR as devices. Then I was able to display and control our video wall easily and it matched the video wall configuration I had already setup using the decoder. Watching this video helped because it reminded me to add the NVR, not just the Decoder. Thanks!

it could be a few things , firmware on both device and camera is a easy way to check make sure both are up to date , and are you pulling the main stream or the sub stream to the decoder via the HC platform , and do both main stream and sub-stream work on the NVR Direct?

for 12 monitors I would use the DS-6916UDUI , you may even need a couple of them based on how many cameras in total you want to decode

DS-1600KI can connect to the DS-69 decoders with no software, you add it to the joystick as a device 😊

I've found it by adding more than 1 channel per window then "auto switch" option becomes available

yes but there are multiple ways to do this , depending on deployment and to much to say over one thread ☹
