Hi, first of all, thank you for the great content you post in each video. They help a lot. Please, let me know if you have any video showing how to unclog the internal carburator tubes of the acceleration pump. I have a Solex 32PBISA16 in my Peugeot 205 and I about to buy a new carb because of this issue. All the other components are perfect and also all the gaskets and diafragms are brand new. Thank you in advance.
Hi, thanks for watching my videos, you can soak it in Tartaric acid, two table spoons in about 2 liters of very warm water, soak it for an hour or two then rinse properly, or ultrasonic cleaning or carb cleaner
On my weber ich34 it falls on its face pulling out of junctions, idles good, The plugs are really black so not sure if the pump jet is too big or too small, it’s a brand new carb
I have a 2.2l 2005 ford ranger, and my carb has been giving me flat spot issues, I'm considering getting a Webber carb I just don't know which one would work properly with the car for the same power output, could you please advise
Webers in general like the 32/36 & 36dcd was build for motors up to 2L...So you don't change anything on the emulsion tubes & spray jets.. so if you have a flat spot on/or just after pull and your idle circuit is corect like in my previous comment about idle jets , Then you have what is called a Lean - hesitation, you just go one jet richer on air jets or main jets on Primary stage. remember the ratio for Air to Mains is 3-1
I built a 38 DGAS progressive and fitted it ti my 1400, it had a flat spot in the beginning and the only way i got it to run perfect without over fueling was to change to emulsion tube and fit a larger spray jet. The emulsion tube that i fitted made the difference in this case. Thank you for the comment and watching the video.
@@carburettorrebuildservice8964 installed a race cam but I have started the car as yet. Ported head or extractor would be help also or a stronger ignition spark?
Hey there, hopefully you can help me. On my weber first 1-2 accelerations have stumble to them but after that it accelerates fine - like it's primed. The outlet and inlet ball valves are free and no leaks are present. After cruising for a bit it comes back and first 1-2 accelerations have hesitation again. Any ideas?

It's because of the fixed choke on the 38 weber...
they are big and you can't alter the jets to go small...
now you must compensate for more fuel.
I have a pair of 45 webbers and I want to install on my stock a14 engine.
What upgrades do I need for them to work?
you will have hesitation and to try to prevent it you would need to fir smaller venturie's for a start. i assume you have aa high performance A14?
