- Thought I would share this work in progress for didgeridoo. It's been fun exploring the different textures and seeing what fits together to make a song.

Awesome! It is hearing stuff like this that has inspired me at 77 years old to try and learn to play the didgeridoo. I made a didge, to get myself started, out of 1.5" cut to 52" PVC pipe. After about 10 days or so I finally started to get my drone. It takes me a minute or so when first picking up the didge to find the drone but it is so satisfying when the drone begins and my lips are vibrating without my really thinking about what I'm doing.
So, I've started researching for instructions and tips on the breathing. I'll take your advice from a previous video of yours and not push or force or overthink it and trust the circular breathing will come in time. Thanks.
Thank you Bill! It's so inspiring to hear that you are taking up this instrument and learning to play it! I'm also glad you enjoyed the video. Take care and happy didging! 🙏
"Don't walk away don't walk away don't walk away"...well done!

Thank you Jeffrey!
I love your rhythms Pamela. This one has a real nice feel. I can’t for the life of me achieve the same groove; it moves along so well. Thank you so much for your lessons, though I still can’t get the feel and emphasis right: probably much to your relief😀😀
@@rogan2001 Thanks Lea! We all find our own groove on the didge. It may not necessarily sound the same as what we hear but when we find it, it's like magic. Keep on playing my friend! You'll get there! 😀
Super cool tune! Could you post a video sometime breaking this down? I'm a beginner and trying to figure out how this could be played ;-)
Thank you Ton! 🙏 I do have a short video explaining some of the things I'm doing but I'm also putting together an online workshop that will break the whole song down. If you're interested, I'll be announcing this and other workshops on my website at www.pamelamortensen.net
