I'm from a little old town in Tn that is out in the country and we had a small church, but John Starnes came and visited our small church and sang. He was such a humble man, sweet and kind. You'd have never known he once worked with such a great evangelist and sang before thousands. He didn't put on airs and there was no pretense to him.

Greetings to all my friends! This video has given memories. I was there that evening in Charlotte, NC. For the Jimmy Swaggart Crusade. That was the night the Holy Spirit took over in another song. They were Praising the Lord for about 15 minutes and I along with them. It was WOW! I met John Starnes and talk with him about 5 years later. When he sang at the PTL grounds. It was 3 years after the fall of the PTL Ministry with Jim & Tammy Bakker. He was a good farm man! He shared with us how he got Saved by the Lord driving his fathers farm tractor. John Starnes is a man of God who loved the Lord with all his heart. I always remember how John Starnes eyes would sparkle. He was a Shinning Light of Christ.
