There is no such thing as Rudlf Nurejew "Raymonda". There is ballet Raymonda, choreographed by Marius Petipa, with music by Alexander Glazunov. First staged by the great choreographer in 1898 for the Mariinsky Theatre at St. Petersburg, Russia, it was revived in 1948 by Konstantin Sergeyev. That exact version Rudlf Nurejew transported to the Paris Opéra Ballet without Mariinsky's permission. It gets even worse, for Nureyew advertised the ballet as his own creation in a shameless exercise of self-promotion.
