@@thosko98some people train very smartly and get ssl with 2k-3k hours, i have 4k and am gc2-3 with mostly freestyle in freeplay hours. Ik u can get gc3-ssl with 2-3k

The backflip at 4:28 shows just how well leth has a feel for the game and movement. I’m sure if I kept playing this game like I used to I wouldn’t have cared but after returning this is reminding me how much the little details truly matter.

Luckily for you, comms aren’t really necessary at high ranks. Especially for 2s because the way most people play is in a 1v2 style. Then hopefully their teammate can clean up. But interestingly enough 2s is a super sweaty mode.

I only recently started playing again on a new account. I am honestly somewhere between high bronze and low gold. But I feel like these commentary uploads are useful. I can still follow pretty well, and try to implement some mechanics when I play. Still no air dribbles for me, and need to get better with control for flicks and such.

I believe the best strategy in tournament points is just cash in all the 1200 ones, because there's still a chance you can get the higher rewards. Then, (if you don't have what you want) you can trade them in for the higher rewards. And hopefully get what you want

I feel like a lot of people think its just mechs that get u to ssl, but most ssl players ive talked to, they just have way better game sense, rotation and are always ahead in strategy

Leth, I’ve convinced myself that ranks keep players lower than they should. And if a champ 2 player were to be plucked from his MMR and only play with SSL players in SSL games, then that champ with become SSL. However, when a different champ 2 (or some other rank) stays in his rank but practices like an SSL this C2 will progress much less and I’d go so far to say he will never hit SSL. Playing the game is the only way to get better - I’d love to know your thoughts.

Hey Leth, I usually only play in diamond, sometimes champ, tourneys but whenever I get tokens, I use all of the on the lowest tier rewards. You get a lot of junk for sure but I haven’t gone a season without getting every reward, including black market
And when you get 30+ crap items you can trade them up as well. I think I tested it a while back when tournaments first came out and there's pretty much no point doing the top tier stuff other than it taking a tenth of the time. But opening lootboxes you don't have to pay for is fun so...
I feel like people over estimate top 100
Pros, are a level above top 100.
But if you’re mid ssl (2k for example) you constantly beat top 100 players. Or at least in my experience. You get so used to playing them it’s not as far of a skill gap as you’d think.
SSLs and GCs make it look so easy like it’s first or second try. 😭

Its always best if u buy cheapest rewards.. and later do trade ups to blackmarket, this season is even easier cause its only 1 BM.. so any 5 Exotics from same season is 100% 4 + 1 older 80/20

If it was just for the spell book your best option to get it would have been buy the bronze tournament cup until you had it.

tournaments have their own mmr, i've never been in champ in rank, but have won a champ tournament last season
I don't know if its in general but just have to say it.
My friend (Peak gc 2 close to 1600mmr) had ssl as tournament elo once. So not all are ssl in there

I don't think you should clip/edit your games as an SSL. Everybody watching is lower then you watching all your moves, how you use boost, how you position & everything. The entire game is important for us to learn things.

I feel so hopeless sometimes. I’m at 825ish hours and keep getting stuck at the top of P3. I recently feel like I’ve really been trying to change my play style and have broken my Plato I was at and I feel like in RL the more you learn, the more you figure out what you don’t know. ☠️
