She did it! I saw her play Eastbourne last year and she looked unbeatable, but would then lose the odd game. Jabeur thought she was better, but Elena has that champion mentality. I picked out about 4 others who could be like that, but only Barty achieved that much.
huge funding.. she even turned away 10-15 scholarships as I know from NCAA schools... so probably a good offer. Better coaching. She is gifted at tennis though....

I saw her lastly and she just honestly failed in terms of hitting points and timing... like so inconsistent to the point that some go to the net which means she is tired... or not happy.. I love her!!! dearly... she does not know and might never know but from my perspective she is champ waiting to happen...dude !! she is so commanding in her presence and she might not know it!!! so sad!!! but my opinion really does not matter but I just mention it because I watch a lot of tennis... = ) so I admire quality hitting and she is and potentially can be hugely top tear quality hitting!!
@@ceterisparibus6261 Fair assessment. Her game has become very error strewn these days and kind of stagnated. She tries to sometimes go for too much too early into a rally which results in cheap errors. A change in the coaching team or an addition can do a lot of good. She is also sometimes very silent on the court. A couple of "come ons" at big points doesn't hurt at all.
