Today we will be unboxing and installing the Sony VPL-PHZ10 1080p Laser Projector at Gates of Faith Ministries in Richmond, VA.
I'm so excited to get my hands on this projector because I've suggested it as a replacement for my home church's projectors.
I did the video system at Gates of Faith Ministries over 5 years ago so there is no need to go through the layout since I designed it and any changes were done by me over the years.
They are using the original ATEM Television Studio with a max resolution of 1080i @ 59.94. They currently are converting the HDMI output from the ATEM to VGA and running VGA downstairs to the fellowship hall as well as the soon-to-be-replaced- Panasonic projector.
I plan to use the existing cables as well as run CAT6 ether for HDBaseT(future) connections and network connections and an SDI output to an SDI to HDMI BlackMagic Converter.

Hi, does this projector do rear projection?
I am not sure. I'll have to get the manual and see
What can I do if the image goes out and the warning light blinks 3 times? The initial corrective action was to unplug and plug back in, however that does not work.. help
Check your cable as that sounds like eco power saving is turning the system off or it could be a fault in the projector
