1:27 Out of all the realistic shows SGRB has the most REALISTIC TEST IVE EVER SEEN🗿! Movements are so smooth, the mouth-head movements, the hand postures, the map costomization and color looks like REAL LIFE BRO😱! even the sky looks realistic especially the heroric pose and the robots as well! everything looks so realistic and smooth🗿🍷 bro deserves a test engine maker reward🗿🍷👑
Searching the internet revealed pretty much nothing about what version of Unreal Engine they used for the project. Does anyone know? For context there is a huge difference between Unreal Engine 3 (released in 2006, powering older games like Rocket League) Unreal Engine 4 (Released in 2014 powering most modern Unreal Engine games like "Fortnite", and used in "The Mandalorian" from Disney+) and finally... the most exciting one... Unreal Engine 5 (which was released this past April 2022). This was famously hyped up with the launch of the PS5. And also showed brand new Ray -Tracing (Path Tracing in reality) tech for light bounces making objects look far more realistic then previous artificial/manual methods. There is a lot of hype for this show being in "Unreal Engine" with no mention at all that I could find as to what version they were using. That would be the equivalent of me saying: "We used a computer to do cool things with a movie never before done". A natural response would be: "Ok... what computer, what specs, what operating system, what programs?" Your essentially leaving out the most important details of your achievement. That being said, if I had to GUESS... it would probably be Unreal Engine 4. I have 2 reasons for that... 1: I actually watched the entire show. If there is real raytracing in it... It was either manually added to the scenes by hand/simulated. Or 2, it was implemented poorly, or very selectively. Not gonna lie... 50% of the scenes looked ok (kinda sorta like Deep Rock Galactic on Unreal Engine 4), 35% of the scenes actually looked so bad I thought they were test animations (like this test from the Movie "Luca" ruclips.net/video/HnhALnvjuF4/видео.html ), and finally MABEY 15% of the BACKGROUND scenery look good enough to convince me ray tracing was used at all... but the moving characters still looked like the original 50% in those 15% of gorgeous backgrounds. 2: My second reason is little more cut and dry. Unreal Engine 5 seems a little to new in order for someone to have the time to make an entire animated movie out of it. However all this talk of the key buzzword "realtime" has me confused on what they used, or how they meant it. That all being said. The series was actually... pretty entertaining in terms of storyline, jokes, voice acting, and overall writing. (No spoilers)... I would love to see them continue the project in a Season 2 or something. Especially since much of Netflix's original content is not very kid friendly, and this show is a nice change of pace. The camera angles in this show where also FANTASTIC, even if the animation itself was sometimes so bad it was actually making me laugh hysterically. Anyway... if your reading this... don't forget the original question... I wanna know what version of Unreal Engine they used.
@@yiwoon_cr8s exactly. Though Alex built Shiny first, maybe based on the retro stuff she liked at the time. When Thunder was made based off gundam-esque designs because that is what Alex liked at the time.

This show is gonna be excellent
I wonder with having the assets, how hard would it be to have it setup ready to go. I mean environment wise, characters. etc.
Gotta get one of these suits lol. Only if had the money lol. Epic!
Yay Epic! So cool to see animation using VP with UE, so cool.
Very nice! I can see the creativity you can do with these new way of creating beautiful things!
I would love that Thunder cutout XD
I loved this so much. it requires a bigger fanbase
At least something good finally came out of brave
I just saw the trailer I'm looking forward to this
As a fan of toku and creative designs/stories this might be good
Wickedly coooool!
Shiny it,s my favorite character of all Netflix ,s series
Really good !!!
this looks insane! 🔥🔥🔥
Welldone ....I wish I could be part of this....I am a 3D Animator.
where can I find the test video for super giant robot brothers. Please I need to know
That much very Expensive so much 🤣
What is the shoulder mount ipad rig they are using, what's it made up of?
SEASON 2! SEASON 2!!!
SEASON 2!
I like this future.
Feel the power its super giant robot brother🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Why do I get the feeling Shiny was blasted a bit forward to the future and Thunder had been built to well... keep the peace because Shiny was gone?
Ok but if u pay more attention
Shiny's designs is retro comic book-esqye
While Thunder's is more modern and based on anime like Gundam
