Love Annecy. Well, from the perspective of a team of 1 person, it's good to see these guys finding an outlet for their creativity and how UE has advanced so much to provide all of these with the tools to make their ideas reality in a more timely and more enjoyable fashion, and give jobs to enthusiastic people. Now, I'm scared of even asking in their forums where I can find all the tutorials and stuff to make real-time animation and composition in UE5. I don't believe they are updating their academy as fast as desired, and they should put the old tutorials on a special tag for UE4 so that you don't stumble with all the out-of-date ones that clog the research filters. Gah, I want to produce already but I just can't find the tutos I need to start. I already have my models, I just want to learn how to start to make a simple scene and some composition like that old UE4 tutorial but for UE5 (hopefully a tutorial made by the same author because he really knows how to teach tips and tricks to avoid problems).
This conversation is definitely incredible! Feeling of gratification for choosing this engine in my production. It sure comes out much more inspired after this chat!
the big mistake creative people make is falling in the I could do it for cheaper trap...guys and gals don't do that you will just be making producers and studios richer in the end.....again.
Yeah its more like advertisement. When i heard them saying, Unreal, robust application... the ylost me there. Thsi stuff crashing more than Maya and that mean something. Also most basic stuff is not working... Not thanks.
At one hand, now we have storytelling technology that avaliable to everybody. At other, now we will have hundreds of movies with silly stories and not interesting characters. It already happened to tv-series. Now it will happen with cg-animation.
@@krz9000 I don't say that it's good or bad. It's just an opinion. My opinion based on my experience. There was a few great movies and series in 90s because before somebody give you money for production you was forced to learn, try, fail, try again, and only the best producers and directors survive. Now, anybody can film everything. And as for average consumer for me it's hard to find something not boring and not to lose dozens of hours in this tries. And that is sad.
@@АлександрИванов-р2з3ф same with music...everyone can have a "studio" that would have costed a million in ther 80tees. and while there is lots of boring trash..there is more good stuff thern ever
@@krz9000 good stuff only if you compare to trash. I don't see bands like Queen, Pink Floyd, Guns'n'roses, Depeche Mode etc. New album, 1-2 good songs, that I will not remember in next week.

I'm the most excited about the documentary very interesting.
Such a fantastic talk! Really excited for what is happening in the industry! Thank you all so much for sharing your views and thoughts!!
Jeez, Annecy for a conference is a dream...
what about animating while using the VR, make some good tools, and it will be amazing to use UE4 for animating.
Thank You. ❤️❤️❤️
Somewhat off topic but I hope Mesh to Meta becomes available to Mac silicon users soon.

Absolutely. This problem also has a multiplier effect. The already cheap productions believe they can go even cheaper and the quality drops even more.
make a panel where we can sculpt and create objects and add those to the Project
Or just learn external software that will always do those aspects better due to being only focused on that single thing.
@Lengko Nature I would liked if unreal engine would be an All-In-One Software
The best engine.. i like UE graphic 🔥🔥🔥
yes ..they are best ...an they help us in any whatever production and learning field

to be fair it's already happening, i work in animation tv series for kids, it's always the same generic episodic story whatever the show is.
Look at manga....few gems make it. The rest is improving , learning trying new things untill their new creation is the fresh gem
