Loaded Z-28 with Rally Sport and Type LT packages. 63,463 actual miles. #s match motor, trans, rear, and colors. Documented with the Dealers Order Sheet. It is a very well maintained, unabused original Z.
HISTORY: Sold new at Bigelow Chevrolet, it was a loaded demo car. The first owner kept it until 1982 and only put 13,000 miles on it. It was not his everyday car. The 2nd owner found it in the Wheeler Dealer magazine which we have! It was a whopping $6,000. He also drove it as a sunny day car. He owned it 33 years and kept it maintained by the same shop. The 3rd owner bought it with 62,676 miles in 2015.
EXTERIOR: Original rust free, damage free metal. It is laser straight. The 2nd owner said he couldn't get the original paint to shine like he wanted. He had it repainted its original color Dark Red Metallic using a base coat-clear coat polished like glass. The paint is gorgeous, looks like a piece of wet candy. When the LT was ordered with the Z28 stripes were not available. The Rally Sport included the extended nose and split front bumpers. This one has front and rear spoilers, sport mirrors and extra trim. Original glass including the windshield which helps verify low miles.
Original unrestored wheels are in great shape and are wrapped in reproduction Wide Oval tires.
INTERIOR: The LT (Luxury Touring) included an upgraded interior including sound deadener and woodgrain trim. All original interior in excellent shape! Only the rear upper seat was reupholstered because of a split. Original carpet and floor mats. Door panels, console, upholstery, and headliner are mint. The dash area is very clean, unabused. Loaded with factory gauges, am-fm, tilt, rear defogger and more. It's very impressive.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original #s match motor has never been out of the car. It runs smooth. It does have upgraded aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb and a set of headers. Features include power steering and brakes. It also has factory a/c, updated with r134 freon. It has a Delco reproduction battery. Very complete- squirters are hooked up, has hood insulation, working under hood light.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and jamb are slick. Inside is mint, original spatter finish from the factory. Original spare and Wide Oval tire spare and complete jack assembly reportedly never out of the car. Original mat. New weatherstrip, working light. This is one of the cleanest original trunks I've seen.
UNDERSIDE: It is a very well-preserved underside. The metal is all original and completely solid. It has the sport suspension. Shocks have been replaced. Disc brakes in front, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Nice dual exhaust system with crossover pipe. Bottom of the motor is clean; the starter looks fresh. Vin number matching Turbo 400 automatic, original tag is still riveted to the side. Original 10 bolt rear end.
Trust me, this is a keeper. Exceptionally clean, unabused rust free car. Loaded with options, color is stunning. It looks and functions like a new car! Investment grade.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.

So Jay your 1 reply about the emblems is correct. LT badging trumps Z-28 badging from the factory. So the seller added the Z badges. The LT positioning in the grille is correct, the Z is too low and would normally be where that LT emblem is. Also in 73 the rear spoiler emblem was a sticker.
Yes, the Z-28 emblem was a sticker on the spoiler only if it was there... being a Type LT it is not supposed to have any Z-28 badging at all. Also Type LT cars were painted black under the lower 3-piece side side trim.
Interesting that the Type LT emblems trump the Z28 emblems, considering the Z28 was above the type Lt the rocker panels were painted black, i have a 76 silver type LT
Very nice and low mileage Z/28 that paint is gorgeous love the interior, glad they left it original.
This Z-28 just pops!
A good looking car indeed!
sweet car i love the split bumper and that paint is something else its beautiful
I don’t normally like most cars built in the 70’s but I like this one.
Wow! Absolutely stunning car. Loaded!!! A triple optioned gen 2 Camaro. Some super rare options are the rear defroster and adjustable seat backs. Beautiful. If my ‘71 RS /SS wasn’t down with the engine out, it might be driven up to Volo for a trade!
Bigelow was a dealer in Cleveland Ohio. Long gone ….
BEAUTIFUL COLOR
🙏👍😍♥️💎
Nice!!!!
Beautiful ride‼️ Beautiful color‼️
Beautiful presentation ‼️🇺🇲🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟A+❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️
oh my!!!
Another fine score Jay! Mine was a 73 RS LT Z -28 as well. They are very rare. I don't remember the LT emblem being in the grill with the Z28 emblem. Wish mine was as nice as this one, this one is a gem. 😋
Gorgeous!
Stunning!!!!!
Thank you!!
Smashing paint job!!
Yes that paint looks amazing. Way better than showroom new back then.
No way I could let this rot in a garage it would be driven every day if possible
Wow!!!! My fav Camaro body style with the split front bumper. Gorgeous!!!
This is why the angels won't let me win a big lottery jackpot... I'm not really a Chevy guy, but *this* car... wow.
Too broke to play...but would love just one more Camaro. Around 2000 they got too expensive so did my 67 El..29 yrs now
2nd gen camaros drove SO well I was impressed after coming from first gens. Hard to put a finger on it but you didnt wann get out
If I was selling that car it’s easy 150,000.never going to find one that nice
Digging the new format.
Thanks for the feedback!! 😃
nice
Interesting change of pace on the intro. Killer!
Glad you like it! A bit of an experiment to gauge the reaction and see if it has any effect on the video.
Nice car
OMG, I am just drooling an ocean right now. I had an '80 Z-28, and I loved that car so much, even though it cost an arm and a leg in gas. It had the white paint with blue trim, blue interior. 👍👍
Loved that yr and color combo
Oh yes it looks totally juicy like one of them hot cinnamon candy apples! Anyone remember those? And Jay I totally love your new intro and engine audio upgrade and commentary at the end... Nice!🇺🇸🫡☺️
Glad you noticed, must mean its working! 😎👍
Man do I ever remember them! Local county fair had to get 1.

Any danger of you knowing what kind of exhaust was put on the car? I'm trying to find factory style tailpipes/tips for my 73. Thanks...
Those are reproduced ck on your local Camaro forum
How does this car not have a big front bumper?
Wow!! I’m way off on my guess!!😮😮😮😮
I’d love to resto mod it and put a LS7 in it

Thanks Tom! Glad you enjoyed the new intro. Finally starting to warm up here.
$68,998.
My ex had a 73 RS.... It was a piece of junk, every time we wrenched a bolt off, it snapped.. total nightmare to work on..
PS sounds like padre Mouse in slippers 🎶 🎶 🤟
OK, just some observations. You showed in the trunk the original body emblems. So my question to you is, is this a real Z28? Also, not to be nitpicking, the Type LT emblems near the doors are not positioned correctly. This is a beautiful Camaro. My guesstimate is $49,500
It is a real Z28 and the Lt emblems are very close to say they are correctly positioned.
I bet this one is asking close to 6 figures or better
Makes my 1971 Camaro RS/SS look like a bucket
The real let down on Any Muscle Car is an automatic transmission...
I love automatics. I feel they make driving a car that much more enjoyable.
While many many would agree, maybe even the majority, we often hear that some older buyers would rather have an automatic because it is easier & they just want to enjoy the drive.
Did this car have a stripe package delete
I believe this is explained in the description.
It is also a Type LT, so neither stripes nor Z28 emblems should be on it as presented from the factory.
