  • Get to know the commander! Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost, 14th commander of USTRANSCOM, shares insights on her background, leadership style, the importance of relationships and how much she’s looking forward to working with the men and women of USTRANSCOM.
    U.S. Transportation Command is a unified, functional combatant command which provides support to the ten other U.S. combatant commands, the military services, defense agencies and other government organizations. USTRANSCOM conducts globally integrated mobility operations, leads the broader Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise, and provides enabling capabilities in order to project and sustain the Joint Force in support of national objectives.     Outstanding! Such a interesting career history. I'm an USAF brat & grew up on airbase's in the US & Germany. Dad was a fighter pilot, 3 wars. Brother-in-law went to the USAFA. I am a Army Vietnam combat Vet. 67/68 & a pvt pilot.
    I can see how proud you are serving this country & how dedicated you are & those who serve.

      It is my honor ma',am. I was born in seoul korea in 1970. My mother is sick in infarction since 2015 and I have taken care of her almost 9 years, nursing, walking, everyday activities like eating, hot watering for feet. My elder brother setting meals breakfast bathing my mother every two days alomst 7-8years. @@JacquelineVanOvost-ng9rl

      I cannot drive any more because I got sick, too durign taking care of my mother. Actually, I have problems to hear metal voice like speaker sound, phone sound, construction sounds and waves, especially high tone voice and powerful voices and waves. @@JacquelineVanOvost-ng9rl
