Love this! I am 58 and I finally get to enjoy one of these things! I'm going to go out in the middle of the night and rip around doing urban assault. It's also really interesting in my town how when I was a kid and even to this day if you're riding around on a loud motorcycle you're going to get busted and pulled over. However the kids riding around on Surrons these days and even pulling wheelies down the main drag, the cops just don't care and they don't even bother messing with these things.
Getting really tempted to get one to put on my bike hitch mount on my 98 xj cherokee. It'd be perfect for my lunch break runs at work to quickly get it to the gas station without driving there and losing my parking spot.

If I can just save gas entirely on my lunch breaks and swing by the gas station for a slice of pizza and a red bull on a full charge on the bike, I'm sure it could last me at least a week each time. Plus, it just looks badass. I own a KLR and love dual sport style bikes, and while I think Teslas are kind of dumb, I see some merit in this thing.

Yeah it is annoying that it dies so fast. You have to carry the charger, buy a bigger battery or ride as intended. The original sport mode caps at 30 mph
It'll break quickly, I don't think any electric bikes or scooters are truly designed very well. I think the problem is they're just not tested under these type of situations for a long enough time to make the proper engineering adjustments

It's an Emoped, not an Ebike. Emopeds have to be licensed here and are illegal on city park trails! I have 2 - 30mph folding class 3 bikes that I ride all over city parks w/o getting the $500 fine.. (both under $1K)
Never straight in your legs on a motorcycle or electric dirtbike, it’s even more dangerous to rely on your arms to be your suspension. If you have a fall from at least 5 6 feet all that impact force is going into your wrists rather than legss/bike.
Id have been a stright up menace to society if I had that at 19...
