When they 'appeared' during the hyperlapse, I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to see him dig (not much really😉). Glad to see Jackie, as always. Its great to see you in there with boys doen your bit . I worked for a millionaire bloke in construction , the first thing in the morning he would say good morning and out on the job if he turned up most times would jump on a shovel with us and at the end of the day he would say thanks for the day boys . To me that means a lot and shows his appreciation for what we are doing for the business just like you are doing with your boys . Well done Mr BealyGood .

Your house is going to be a challenge because of the different angles and shapes in the design. That being said, if you can get it to work on your house, it should be no problem getting it to work on any house design. You are putting the icf to the ultimate test. That is what makes us human. I believe that mistakes are a good thing as long as we learn from them and build our knowledge. If everyone was perfect and knew how to do everything then what would be the point doing anything.

I really like this project and design of the pool and the equipment room underneath. I don't know the house design I missed that episode. But the underground movie theater is cool.

It seems that it takes a considerable amount of experience to build with these systems.
The learning curve is quick.
It was actually developed as a system that could be built by do-it-yourselfers but it does have a lot to consider so it is far faster to have an experienced crew put it all together. ICF has been around for many years and if you have the chance to visit an ICF home you will find it quiet, strong, warm in winter and cool in summer.
So remember when Aaron was first showing Chris what the dig was going ro need and rhe over cut was x amount of feet ?
I think next time it could four feet to cover all the requirements that are being added here !
Now Geoff, you'll need to Boost Chris up with some payments,he has an expensive scratch to repair on the new digger ,yes the new one ,he won't be happy until its fixed, because he cares ,his level of pride

Geothermal. There’s gonna be some really cool videos when we get to that. I have a top-notch HVAC engineer that will be featured on the channel too.

There's this polymer that you mix with water and apply it to your pond and it binds with the tiny soil and vegetation particles and pulls them to the bottom .The stuff I used was a powder it was good for use in small ponds but they recommended a different part number for ponds 1 acre and above, ask your fish people if the don't think it's good then don't use it ,my pond was tiny 256 gallons but it did what it said if used according to directions. The box of chemical I had was 10 pounds and good for treating one acre once it's not cheap but it's fast.

This is one of those great examples of how the internet can make your job harder! Seems like the videos are overlapping, or I am just tired. Could be both! I hope the project is moving as you have planned! The time change only affects the people that don't get up before 5 AM.

3 steps foreword 2 1'2 steps back...never stop and eventually the project gets done. I love how you let everyone come for training. The big question that I have is how is the water pumping going? Is the water ingress slowed, stopped? We just don't know but would like to.
It’s deadly pumping out but it’s staying down where we need it for now. So I feel pretty confident will be able to stop it altogether after Concrete is poured and we can dig out some more.

@ 25:02... your foundation in the lower portion of the frame is not 100% square and looks like it's in about 2-3" on the right wall. May just be an optical illusion, but thought I'd bring it up before it's too late
That is a curved wall so I just built the footing down to be too big. It will make sense once the walls are up. Thanks for checking.

I'm surprised that you didn't put a couple of cameras on flagpoles around the yard to give you a stationary bird's eye view and time lapse of the project (along with drone footage).
I have a couple doing time lapse. I show it occasionally, but I’m saving it all for an end video as well.

Geoff, what was the issue with the pour between the deep pool wall and the ground with the concrete being too wet? We watched your video twice and Chris’s once and didn’t understand. Thank you.
Concrete was too wet and bowed in the bottom of the framing

Wetter is heavier and it tends to push more. Fluids seek equilibrium.

Yes. It comes out after the pour
I think what is confusing me is I watched an ICF build on another channel where the brackets with walkway were attached on the inside of the building. You seem to be building them on the outside.
Hi Penny. The house Build will definitely have the Bracing on the inside. For the pool, you have to go outside because we will be pouring the floor at the same time.
i hope you install PVC pipe in the wall and up to the top of the pool for lights!!!
