    Man if you became serious about teaching instead of trying to make entertainment? Wow! U could be another Spencer Lewis! Every time I am hired I am told you know how hard it is to find a finish carpenter? Give us 15/30 min teaching videos? Or u can keep doing this? No disrespect meant brother!

    Hey Jared, what did you use on the under side of the bench to bring it off the floor? Molding? Sick Tunes man... you're videos are awesome. Almost have enough courage now to do some building...

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  3 года назад

      Just a few pieces of 1/2 inch thick base board. That lets the 1/4 round or shoemould go across the front without sticking up above the bottom of the mudroom. Thanks!

    I know this video is old but this is an awesome build. How do you secure the beadboard to the wall? do you drill/nail it into studs?

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  4 года назад +1

      William Urban nail it into the studs. Thanks for watching man!

    Will the finished floor be flush to the floor of the cubbies?

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  4 года назад

      Building the Tiny House no, you can kinda see at 2:31 that I put some half inch base board on the bottom to raise the top of the bottom cubbies to about a 1 1/4 inches. That way, after the 3/8 flooring goes in, I can run a piece of quarter round or shoe mold across the front.

    What width did you have to work with? Can this be done with only 55” of wall space available? I have the ceiling height.

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  5 лет назад +1

      Tamara Isaacs Ciocci the material is 3/4 MDF in a 4x8 sheet. 55” is plenty of space for some cubbies. Check out some of my other cubby videos. Thanks for watching!

    hi! love your work...what is that white thing that you but in the bottom of the cubbies? (white color) p.d new on this lol!

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  4 года назад +1

      Grace Luna it’s just a few piece of 3 1/4 inch by 1/2 inch base board. I use it to elevate the bottom cubbies so that when I put the 3/4 inch tall “1/4 round” or shoemold, it doesn’t stick up above the bottom piece of MDF.

      I am working on in the bench part and I am about to start over😩 .I tried making it out of solid wood and it’s been not so good since wood it’s not so straight, but yeah, you make it look so easy.

    • @TMPK
      @TMPK  3 года назад

      @@ifollowjesus1667 well solid wood is a lot harder to work with versus MDF. Especially if it’s not so straight.
